Was looking for a letter board letters organizer and I found this super cool beads organizer that worked perfectly for my letters. You can literally find anything and everything at Michael's. Fits perfectly in my drawer

I love this store.I can walk around and get in a creative state of mind. The store also has decorative items already design for you.I did catch cashier ringing up 2 items twice. We all need to be watchful everywhere.I would have lost 12 dollars on a 200 dollar order. Busy putting items on counter looked up just in time to catch mistakes.

Michaels has more home decor items now which is good. Still can find good sales going on all the time.

I want to give this place 1 star! However, that is not because of the store or the employees!! It’s because every time my wife goes in, she comes out with WAY more than she needed. Just need some foam for a school project? Leave all the discounted holiday items that she “just can’t pass up”!!So fine!! Take your five stars!! But I am not happy about it!!

I placed an order online to pick up at the store in Durham. It was the closest store that had a table top easel in stock. I coordinated the pick up with a doctor's appointment at Duke. Otherwise, I wouldn't have driven 90 miles one way.The customer pick up area was designated in a tucked away region with the frame shop Several customers and I waited for an associate to respond to a page. One lady finally left. She said she had been waiting for 15 minutes. Once the associate arrived, he was confused. I gave him my cell phone so he could read the purchase order number. He continued to look for a framed project. I told him the PO was for a table top easel. Oh.I would have given this a 3 star rating, but the cashier made up for a poor "shop online, pick up in store" experience with her enthusiasm, energy, and accuracy while ringing up my other purchases. She found all the coupons on my cell and applied them with efficiency. I received my military discount. I left the store feeling less aggravated.

Staff is always nice and always have great manners. They keep the store well picked up. Everything is in its place and the sales are always great! Would recommend to everyone!

Love shopping here. Great coupins, and most of the frames and shadow boxes I use are generally BOGO which is awesome. Staff are always very nice too.

BEWARE AND TAKE YOUR FRAMING ELSEWHERE! I took in a professionally stitched needlework piece to have it framed and put down $377.33. After it was a week past due, I called the store and was told there was a problem and the framing manager would call me. No one called. So I dropped by the store and the framing manager told me that some of the framing items had shown up soiled and they had to be reordered, but she could do the framing right then and I could pick it up in a couple hours. I come to pick it up and the needlework was stretched all wonky/crooked and the mat was placed around it unevenly. She tried to pass it off as "Well, that's the way it is" and my friend and I both laughed and said, "Nooooo, I don't think so". She claimed she could redo it the following week and they would call me when it was done. Weeks go by and I hear nothing so I call the store manager and tell her the story. She checked on it, and does actually call me back, saying they will have to reorder everything and I would get a 25% discount and it would be ready in a couple days and someone would call me when I could pick it up. Weeks go by and I call the store manager and she insists employees had called me multiple times (they hadn't) and then she confirmed they hadn't. So I made sure the store manager was there when I picked it up (52 days after I had dropped it off) and she tells me she is going to "refund 100% of the framing" for all the trouble. This time the needlework was stretched correctly, but one of the mats is still unevenly set so it is wider on top and to the side, but I didn't care, I just wanted my piece back and the manager gave me a refund.....but not the 100% refund she had promised. When I got home and looked at the receipt she had refunded $282.71, $94.62 short of a full refund. So may my story be a warning for anyone thinking about getting framing done at THIS STORE, especially for needlework. Go elsewhere. Anywhere else.
