Wow what a great cozy place! After a long day at Duke Medical Center we stopped in here right at opening and were greeted by the owner. He was super nice and well the food is off the chart!
Nuff said.

Food was great as well as service! Food came out pretty fast. Not sure whether this matters but another great thing I liked about the restaurant was that they have a lot of beef options for those that don’t eat pork. Most Italian places are heavy on the pork side.

Very warm welcome upon entering this establishment. The host and waitress were quite kind. I ordered the Ravioli with Bolognese, which is a meat based tomato sauce sprinkled with parmasean cheese. I also ordered the garlic bread. Prices are very reasonable. I will be returning.

Googled quiet restaurants near me to find a place to recharge and get a few things done. Enjoyed my meal and especially the tiramisu. Appreciated the tablecloth and cosy atmosphere.

Updated Review! My wife and I stopped eating here about 2 months ago because the service was pretty bad and when you're spending well over $50 for two, you want decent service. Decided to give then one more try and was pleasantly surprised! The service was much improved and there were more staff. The food here is excellent and delicious. Our tilapia based entrees were perfect! The lemon butter sauce makes the fish or chicken pop! Sauteed veggies were fantastic and their Italian cabernet is wonderful! Keep up the good work and we will be back soon!

We met here for lunch and had an incredible time. From the quality of the customer service to the quality of the food, it was all superb. I would highly recommend everyone try this hidden Durham gem.

Found the place kind of by accident. But it was a very happy accident!!! Everything was delicious and you can tell they use very high quality ingredients. The food is seasoned so well!! We can't wait to come back!!!!

Had dinner there tonight for the first time. Portions were good and prices were reasonable. Menu could use a few more options (no eggplant, no manicotti, no spinach stuffed shells -- but 4 ravioli dishes, just with different sauces). Albondigas (3 good-sized meatballs) had nice chunky tomato/marinara sauce that wasn't overly garlicky. My husband had the veal and said it was flavorful, though a bit thicker and tougher than he expected. His parmesan mashed potatoes were dry and pretty bland with a little parm sprinkled on top. My ravioli was nice: al dente with the same good sauce as the tapas meatballs. Wine prices were what we expected (approx. 2x what you'd pay for the same bottle at the store). We were hoping for some nice rustic Italian bread, so we were a bit disappointed with our 3 yeast rolls (not that yeast rolls aren't delicious). We had a reservation and were seated pretty quickly, but service was kind of slow -- ordered entrees at 7 and they arrived at 8. Not a bad meal or experience, just nothing special.
