The food here is absolutely delicious, I had the Ham and Cheese, and the beef empanadas, they were great, chimichurri was great as well. On top of that the people there are extremely kind and professional. 10/10

Makus Empanadas catered a work event for us. They delivered on time, set up the food service quickly and with care, and the food was delicious + hot + well-labeled. Our group especially liked that the empanadas were imprinted with what was inside--great for groups with various dietary restrictions. Thanks Makus! Will order again for future catering needs.

I went to Makus for lunch and overall had an average experience. The takeout order took ~20 minutes to prepare. I had the beef and chicken empanadas with rice and beans. I would have enjoyed a more flavorful sauces. The "red sauce" was pretty much just Texas Pete's in a separate container. I do not plan on returning given that the prices do not reflect the quality of the food.

I have been traumatized by many many vegetarian recipes in the Triangle and I can say that most restaurants that have a veggie pastry have not mastered controlling the moisture content, and so the dough would be soggy, but this is the first time I have had a veggie pastry that was perfectly balanced with tenderness, flavor, and moisture. Thank you so much! You made lunch great!
