Awesome experience at Luna! Nicely tucked away restaurant in Durham, NC. I stopped by for Bunch and sampled the Fish and Chips, Beef Brisket Patacon Pisao and Chicken Empanada. Great South American dishes cooked to perfection!

Stopped by with my partner and got a small plate before the DPAC show. We sat at the bar and our server/bartender was great. She had good food recs. We got the arepas and they were amazing. The empanadas were a bit dry for my liking, but overall we’d come back!

The food and service were very good. The collards were amazing, a definite must order. I also had the camote chimichurri which was a great flavor combination. My other side was Madurai’s with crème that tasted like a cinnamon sugar cookie.
They clearly mark gluten free items and I felt comfortable eating gf at this place. Look forward to return.

This place was pretty good. It’s very similar to alpaca If you’ve been there. The space is cool and it was yummy. I will say we probably liked alpaca a bit better but this was a fancier, sit down alternative. The pimento cheese grits were phenomenal! The people were very friendly and the plantains were also delicious.

When we walked in, we were not greeted. When someone finally said something, they seemed confused that we would want a table. Once seated we waited a long time for someone to come take our drink order. The arepa appetizer was outstanding. There are no prices on the drink menu. They’re expensive. The food did come out quickly. It was good.

The best arepas in this style we have had and the empanadas were amazing as well. The beer selection paired well with the menu and was well priced. The service was excellent! We will definitely be back to eat here again next time we're in town. It's a must try for locals!

Pretty Good food. Nice environment. Not pricy
The cocktail I ordered was the South Star. I expected it to be like an old fashioned With A Touch of Spice. It was overpowered by jalapeño and basically like drinking Cinnamon Whisky
