Luna is in my top restaurants in the triangle. The food is consistently wonderful, service is just right, and somehow it is casual enough for a weeknight takeout but also special enough for a birthday dinner. -
Great spot for a quick meal. It literally comes out so quick. Atmosphere is cute. It’s a little tight seating on the two person tables. Service good. Ordered the Pork Carnitas and Chili Braised Brisket. It’s was good. Could have been a bit more flavorful but good. Also the beer was too warm when it came out. I’d come back here. -
One of my fave spots in Durham. I’ve never dined in, but it’s very cute inside. A little loud and overstimulating for me, but that’s not their fault. They have a good amount of outdoor seating as well. I live nearby and love ordering pickup here for a quick, delicious meal. The staff are always very friendly, and the food is amazing. The prices are well worth it for the quality of food and portion sizes. Fantastic place. -
The food and customer service was so amazing! We did not experience a long wait time for our food. Our arepas and empanadas were so delicious! -
I really enjoyed my meal at Luna's. They offer a very intriguing menu that crosses several types of Latin American cuisine. I ordered the chili-braised pulled brisket, which was cooked to perfection. I also adored the coconut rice and beans. The collard greens were good, but lacking in spice and instead had a very strong apple cider vinegar taste. My only disappointment was the pisco sour which tasted OK, but looked very unappealing. My sister also tried the sangria, which oddly had a ton of club soda in it.
We came in on a Thursday evening for dinner, and the place wasn't too crowded. The tables aren't really well suited for groups larger than four, and the seating isn't the most comfortable. Although the service was good and fast, we did run into an issue with being overcharged via the QR code payment process.
