I think this is the “better” place in box yard to eat I won’t repeat again here but I had a good experience. We ordered wings (which to my taste they were dry and no flavor), pasta that I didn’t like and brisket. I recommend more for the place that for the food

Brisket sandwich was delicious. Mac and cheese was pure heaven. Fries were plentiful and tasty. I'll definitely return!

If you love some good pulled pork, Lawrence Bbq is the place you need to go immediately! Im not the biggest pork guy, but I would eat Lawrence’s in a heartbeat. But everything else was just ok. We got the 3 meat sampler and a few sides for just under 35 dollars. The brisket and wings were kinda salty and the sides were just ok. But that pork, it sits in a category by itself. It didn’t even need sauce. For the pork alone, this place is on another level! I ll definitely come back for a sandwich.

I traveled from Vegas back home to NC for vacation, and I wanted great bbq. Especially a pulled pork sandwich. They delivered an extremely good sandwich ! I loved their spin on Mac and cheese too!

Lawrence is definitely one of my go to spots in RTP for wings and barbeque. The location is awesome, and you can grab beer at Fullsteam. They do run out of certain things though, so if you want something specific get there early.

Yowza! BoxYard RTP has plenty to offer, I tried some barbecue brisket - delicious! Sides all tasted great, and the atmosphere has a fun, friendly vibe. Will definitely stop here every time I visit the area!

Some phenomenal BBQ and chicken here. I’ve lived in the south my whole life and had lots of BBQ from all types of places, and the pulled pork here hits real close to home for me. A perfect level of moist/melt in your mouth. The honey hot chicken sandwich was stupid delicious. That sandwich was so good it felt dreamlike. One of the best souther chicken sandwiches I’ve ever had. Their sides are also amazing - Mac n cheese along with the coleslaw surprised me with how good and unique of a side they prepared was. This is an ultra gem of the Boxyard that I didn’t not expect to be so good with southern BBQ cooking. Also good selection of beer to go with your meal. A bit pricey however - chicken sandwich with pulled pork and two sides will run you $35+

I give them an A for their efforts. They have some unique spins on their sides. Not just your plain beans and Mac. The first time around, the brisket they served me was not good at all. Tough and mostly fat. I took it back, and they gave me some new slices that were light years better than what I first received. Their Mac and cheese was interesting. Had good flavor and the crunchy chips or whatever they sprinkle on top was a nice touch. Their beans had their own spin on them, and had a really nice flavor. I would recommend giving them a try, and I will definitely go back to give them a second chance.

$63 for 3 to have lunch. Let’s breakdown what we got. 1 1/2 lb of brisket and 1 pint of coleslaw. Seems a little pricey for a bbq joint. Everything is sold separately, meats, sides, drinks. No indoor seating. This is part of multiple shipping containers stacked and occupied to be restaurants with only outdoor seating. This area is partially heated and covered. 4 stars because bbq should be much more inexpensive, it should also come with sides. Mostly because Google said it was $10-20 per person, which it is not. $14 for brisket, $4.50 coleslaw, $1.50 for 8oz drink. This is 5 star brisket though. Thick slices, cooked perfectly. However I don’t think I will be picking this place again.

A funky place tucked near an office complex location in a box car retail area. Mostly, very creative BBQ sandwiches in the offering, though they do offer it by the pound plus sides. I only had time for a quick smoked pork shoulder sandwich with a very unique coleslaw with cilantro on a brioche bun. Moist, tender & overall excellent flavor. I'll be back to try the brisket as it was sold out before I could get there.
