The Texas Toast patty melt is head and shoulders over Whataburger. Ask for it "the way they make it "...the best.
Don't be surprised if you end up sitting between a person with an oxygen tank and a family with babies. If you are fortunate enough to eat here, you are in our neighborhood, be neighborly.
There's sports memorabilia all over the walls, don't hesitate to take it in.
There's handicap parking, but it's tight for a chair.

Locals only American food, cooked while you watch. Always the freshest and most delicious.
Homemade desserts like banana pudding and red velvet cake that you will find nowhere else.
All people in attendance, all ages as well, toddlers and seniors side by side.
Handicap accessible, but maybe a little tight for some chairs.
Crinkle fries for the win. And yes, it's the kind of place where every table has a squeeze bottle of ketchup.

Seems like the quality is not what it used to be. Their hot dogs used to be awesome. The inside smells just like the bathrooms. Needs a deep cleaning. You should not smell the bathrooms in the dining room.

A neighborhood eatery where everyone pretty much knows everyone else and you are likely to be addressed by the name "SUGAR" as if you were in an old Burt Reynolds movie. The food is cooked fresh, by hand, right before your very eyes.
It's not uncommon to see a baby booster across the aisle from an oxygen tank. Wheelchair riders are welcome.
You can get cake and banana pudding made by someone else's grandma, and you should.
I brought a soldier from Turkey in once, and he said it was the best hamburger he'd ever had, I kid you not.

If you like a diner type atmosphere, this is the place for you. No frills or wait staff, just good cookout type food. Once you place your order, there is a station/area to retrieve your food. It is a small establishment with limited seating.

A delightful "locals only" burger and hot dog joint. The food is always fresh and the staff is always friendly. Locally made pie and banana pudding you can't get anywhere else. Great for kids and elders, all people welcome! Bottle of ketchup on every table, iykyk. The Texas Toast Patty Melt is to die for.
