Beautiful and clean library that honors the Founder of North Carolina Central University. Take a walk and look at all the pictures that mark historical figures and events. The decor is modern with quite study rooms, computers, plenty of tables to have group meetings, and friendly staff. -
Perfect for any and all academic needs at Central. The librarians are always more than helpful with anything you could possibly think to ask, and are a great source of information when searching for journals or further reading on given topics. -
If I could give this library a 10 star I would. I was assigned an annotated libguide assignment in the LSIS 5230 Humanities Resources and Services close to the end of the semester. Of course, outside sources was legitimate for the assignment, but however, the instructor required the class to find databases from the NCCU library that relates to the topic. My topic was Art for Elementary Students. As I was searching for databases related to the topic, I was having a much complicated time trying to find databases that contained resources. So with that in mind, I called the NCCU Library and a reference librarian by the name of Beverly went way above and beyond to help me. Not too many librarians are as helpful as Beverly. While we were on the phone, we both searched databases together that would match my topic, and boom, I was able to locate databases the contained information about the selected topic I chosen. Even more wonderful about Mrs. Beverly, she even emailed me articles and databases so I could have tremendous knowledge and understanding on how to search databases at the NCCU library. Because of Mrs. Beverly, I received an A on the annotated Libguide assignment. Any Library Science students who are struggling to search databases at the NCCU Library, all you have to do is give Mrs. Beverly a call. She is the best. -
Very nice facility, convenient parking, easy to find. -
