I ordered the flounder, and my brother ordered the wings — both were absolutely amazing! It’s been a long time since I’ve had wings this big and flavorful. The fish was seasoned perfectly and cooked just right. We’ll definitely be coming back for more.

You know what? Hell yeah… this is a great little stop for those days when you just want a solid fish plate without spending an arm and a leg.
I’m not mad at it… make sure you get that lemon pepper seasoning on the fish… 10/10.
Greens? Bussin’.
Mac? Ehh, 5/10.
Okra? Solid 7/10.
But that frozen lemonade? Boiiiiiii… 10000/10.

I tried J & J's today on a whim because I was in the area. I had their 2 Item combo with fried wings and fried catfish with max n cheese and collard green and slice bread instead of hushpuppies. I also got an order of their banana pudding. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS. I had to pull over in Brier Creek because I couldn't wait until I got home. You could absolutely tell the fish and chicken was fried to order and we'll worth the 15 minute wait through their drive through. I will definitely be back to try their other selections. Lord help me to not go here every single time I have a hankering for delicious southern food.

Good place. The only thing I didn't like is they don't have chilli for hot dogs and they have pickles, tomatoes etc. but not peppers for the Chicago style.
1) 👍🏾The Chicago style hot dogs are actually made with Vienna brand weiners like in Chicago.
2)👍🏾 They sprinkle lemon pepper on chicken and will add it to fish if you request.
3) This is my first time eating here in years, they have renovated the dinning room. Nice. I will return. -
I was visiting from out of town and decided to give JJ's Fish & Chicken a try. Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The fish was good, but that was the only highlight. The shrimp was extremely salty, and while it had potential, it was over-seasoned. The mac and cheese and collard greens were both very disappointing.
To top it off, the tartar sauce came in a generic ketchup-style packet. When I'm ordering seafood, I expect a quality tartar sauce—preferably house-made or at least something better than a basic packet. It really took away from the overall meal.
I wanted to like this place, but based on my experience, I wouldn't come back.
