Since moving to North Carolina, Emmanuel Baptist Church has truly become a cornerstone in my fiancé's and my lives. Back in November, we visited several churches in the area, searching for the right fit with the same diligence one would apply to a job search. As a young couple, it was important for us to find a church not just for now but for our future family as well.
One of the most impactful aspects of Emmanuel is the warm and inviting environment. The sense of community is palpable, and we immediately felt welcomed by everyone we met. Pastor Yoki, in particular, has been incredibly supportive. His welcoming presence and kindness during the holidays, while I was waiting for my fiancé to move down, made a significant difference.
If you didn’t understand the Bible before, you will after attending this church. Pastor Yoki delicately describes verse after verse of the word of God.
The sense of community, the inspiring leadership of Pastor Yoki, and the overall positive atmosphere make Emmanuel Baptist Church a place we are proud to be a part of. We're excited to continue our spiritual journey here and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a welcoming and uplifting church family.

Knew from the minute we walked in the door that this was a very Christ-centered church! The fellowship at Immanuel was so warm and welcoming - folks were so loving and kind as if we had been lifelong members for ages! The reverence for God, the passionate members and Pastor Yoki are the very reason we have made Immanuel our home. Love, LOVE this church!!!!!!!

I attended for the first time by myself. Right upon walking to the doors the energy was amazing. I am a anxious person and was nervous to go alone. However, by the end, I am having conversations with people to my right and left because it was such a welcoming, peaceful environment. Pastor Yoki was incredibly kind. I went up to him after and he was extremely caring and truly listens. Left feeling absolutely refreshed not only from the passage, which was very applicable to life and modern day struggles but the energy alone was enough to recharge my spirit and soul!
