Such a great addition to the neighborhood! This new bodega has quickly become one of my favorite spots in
Durham. The coffee is excellent, and the breakfast sandwiches are easily some of the best in the area. They’re hearty, perfectly made, and topped with a delicious sauce that really takes them to the next level. It’s the kind of breakfast that keeps you thinking about it long after you’ve left.
The service is always warm and welcoming, and the owner is incredibly friendly and clearly cares about creating a great experience for everyone who walks in. I also love that you can grab fresh pasta to cook at home along with other essentials you might need. It’s the perfect mix of quick breakfast stop and neighborhood market. So happy to have a place like this nearby!

Turkey sando is awesome and they have great gluten free bread. Great selection of uniquely curated drinks, goodies and groceries. Friendly and kind staff. Easy parking. Awesome new spot

What a great find in Durham. I stumbled into Hops & Flower and I’m so glad I did.
The hot turkey sandwich with broccoli rabe was incredible…easily one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a while.
I love the concept. It’s a coffee shop open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, a beer shop, a full bar, and even a cannabis dispensary….. and somehow it all works perfectly. Super cool vibe and a great place to hang out. I’ll definitely be back.

We had high expectations of Hops and Flower, and the place exceeded even that high bar! Cool and welcoming atmosphere. I had a hot veggie sandwich and it was delicious, unlike any I've ever had anywhere. I will definitely be getting my coffee there, and shopping for gifts as well. I love that it's just a stone's throw from Ninth St. This is a great addition to the neighborhood!

Great addition to Durham! I dined in with my husband shortly after they opened and we both loved our sandwiches. I had the TAB. The ingredients were all really fresh and their bread is delish. Staff was super friendly! We also picked up some items from the wellness market/dispensary and have been enjoying them. I was craving the TAB again yesterday and had it delivered — arrived quickly and was just as good. Excited to have Hops and Flower in our rotation!

This is a unique place. Had the good fortune to talk to the owner about some of the products. The menu is smaller but really good, and the sandwiches are huge! I have not tried the GF bread yet but did like the chickpea salad available in the fresh case. My companions enjoyed their chicken and turkey sandwiches.
The products for sale are local and offer a good sampling at higher quality. They even have some staples, like Latta's eggs. There are also in house made soups and sauces in the freezer. The soup choices look yummy and they all appeared to be gluten free. The fresh soup selection changes every couple of days.
There are also carefully selected drafts. There is nothing GF on draft, but what is there is a variety. Between all the packaged singles and 4/6 packs for sale, there absolutely is canned/bottle choices for all tastes and diets.
There is seating and bar seating; the bartender is a very nice guy and so is the owner. Seems like a good staff all around.
Thumbs up to the latest addition from the owner of Luna Durham, Rubie's, and Remedy room! (or whatever is called now)
I am looking forward to giving the celiac test sometime soon.

Excited to have this as a new food option in town. Had the egg sandwich which was quite tasty. Enjoyed the seasoning on the home fries too - could have eaten them all day. Got the cutest earrings from the shop while I was waiting on my food. Will definitely return to try the sandwiches soon.

Awesome addition to the neighborhood! The chickpea sandwich is a revelation. Good vibes barista and management. Nice selection of local beer on draft. Board games in the back! A good place to stop for grabbing a quick gift for a dinner party…Boxcar cheeses, funny cards, etc. Looks like a well curated and welcoming cannabis section too.

Enjoyed a fantastic smoked salmon sandwich here for breakfast one day. Loved the smoked salmon on a Kaiser roll. Thinly sliced cucumbers and arugula really gave it some crunch and extra texture and flavor. Bought some of the Bolognese sauce from the market and it made an excellent dinner a couple of nights later. Love the friendly folks and look forward to dining here again.

So excited about this new spot! Tamales and hot turkey sandwich were both 10/10. Some great take home freezer stuff in the cases and great coffee.
Wheelchair accessible, has high chair for little ones.
Great atmosphere.
