Brand new hotel. Really close to the Duke hospital which was important to us as a family member was having surgery. Good complementary breakfast. Beautiful lobby area, lots of sitting area. Nice gym. FYI I had a hard time sleeping the first night because there is a busy highway right behind the hotel, oh also a train near by that keeps some night hours. Just bring a sound machine and you should be fine, the second night was better.

I was greeted with a big smile when I arrived. Everyone was extremely nice; Davis, Mimi, Priscilla, Carolyn. The cookies were a great treat, especially after a long drive; it was an excellent afternoon snack. The breakfast area was clean and the options were endless. The galley staff was exceptional. Ms. Gwen was very accommodating and prompt taking us where we needed to go. Overall, very happy with my stay at this location.

Although this hotel was wonderful, clean, had spacious rooms, and an awesome breakfast, this review is solely for Priscilla at the front desk. I stayed here recently for a medical intensive. The days are extremely long and I have been treating horribly complicated patients. The first day I checked in, the front desk staff let me know that they put cookies out for guests between the hours of 4-7 (which that in itself is excellent). However, with my schedule, I missed the first day’s time frame. Priscilla and her coworker were at the desk and saw that I missed it and they gave me free packaged cookies which made my night. The next day, I came in a little earlier and made it within the time frame but all of the cookies were already gone. Priscilla saw this and did not hesitate to offer to bake more for me AND asked what flavor I liked! She even called my hotel room personally to let me know when they were right out of the oven. I could not be more blown away by her outstanding hospitality, her willingness to go above and beyond, and her amazing attitude. That act of pure selflessness to take time out of her busy day to help one guest, made my stay. When you are constantly surrounded by stress, someone looking out for you means more than I can say. My family is back home during the time I’m out here so to extend such a comfort to me, you (Priscilla) are irreplaceable. I will absolutely be recommending this hotel. Thank you for all that you do!

We were here for an extended stay with my dad being in the hospital. The staff was so kind and accommodating. Priscilla was amazing and brought us extra bedding. We received a sweet card signed by everyone. I really appreciated that while going through a hard time. We were able to do laundry, eat a delicious breakfast every day, and use the common spaces to re-coup in between hospital trips. Wonderful Hotel and Staff. Cheerful decor, clean spaces, very homey. Cannot say enough good things.

When we arrived at the hotel, we were checked-in by Priscilla who was very pleasant and quite welcoming. She answered all our questions and had some very helpful suggestions.
Our room was extremely comfortable, we really felt like we were at home in the suite. The Home2Suite will definitely be our go-to hotel choice moving forward.

Ms Mimi and Ms Priscilla are fabulous! They were both so welcoming and helpful. Both not only offered us some refreshments, but also, helped unload my car and make sure my husband was safely able to make it to our room. The room was so clean and comfortable. Being here has been perfect for us, since he’s recovering from transplant surgery. With the amazing, delicious breakfast and plenty of kitchen space and accommodations has allowed us to focus on his recovery. We feel right at home here at Home2 Suites.

Great experience from check-in to our entire stay for two nights. Wayne assisted us after a long day of flying from Portland, OR to Durham. He made the entire experience a very pleasant one. The entire property is super clean. I especially enjoyed the new equipment in their gym.

We have been coming to this hotel for several months for treatment at Duke and it has become a home away from home. I can't say enough about how friendly and helpful everyone is at this hotel. Priscilla always starts our stay off with a friendly smile and welcome back and she and Mimi are always great with any questions or needs we have during our stays. LaTosha has been great helping with the many reservations and changes that we have had to make during our stays. Everyone in the hotel from the front desk, the breakfast staff and housekeeping have been great and make a difficult time much easier on us.

I came to Durham for a medical procedure at the university. My husband chose this hotel for its location and convenience. The customer service was excellent! Our room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was filling, and the location was great. Mimi at the front desk was very accommodating and friendly. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

This was our first time in a Home2Suites. The room was better than expected and extremely clean, quiet & comfortable. Perfect location for my appointment with Duke Neurological Center. Since it was within the 5 mile radius of the hotel, I was able to take the shuttle with the lovely lady, Ms. Gwen. Also, a shout out to the reception desk staff - especially Priscilla. The Manager (Davis?) was very nice. Terry was also wonderful. Would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Durham.

Priscilla and every other staff member we interacted with were so welcoming and friendly that we wanted to make sure to leave them a great review. Hotel was great too and exactly what we needed for this occasion. We travel plenty and stay in all kinds of hotels, and it just stood out immediately how warm and welcoming folks were. A small thing, but very much appreciated as normally I’d expect to just transact, get a key, and likely not talk to another employee the remainder of my stay. We had to stay in town twice in two weeks and came right back to the same hotel based on having such a positive experience with the staff and we got the same warm welcome and they even remembered my kids from the brief meeting the week before. Rare to get that kind of service.

The hotel was clean. The beds were okay, though not super comfortable. Highway noise but knew it was close by. Convenience was the main reason for selecting this location. We had scheduled two nights but decided to depart after one. I left our room keys at the desk and was told my invoice copy would be sent the next day. No inquiry about our stay or experience while there. The pluses were a clean room and the hotel appeared to be new.

So far I have stayed twice at this hotel.
I intend to book here every time I come to Durham which will be often. Davis and Jonathan are excellent ambassadors for this hotel chain. They go above and beyond for the customer.
The ladies at the front desk are attentive to your every need and the breakfast is varied and well served .
You just cannot go wrong staying here.
I look forward to seeing everyone on my next trip.
