The best thing about this Holiday Inn Express is the management/concierge/housekeeping and breakfast service people. It was not as close to the University as I had thought. Nonetheless, the people that work there made the drive worthwhile. They were very good to me during the entire weekend and even went so far as to mail back to me a piece of identity that I had left in the room. Genuinely, these are wonderful people.

Good central location for our business needs. The hotel was clean, rooms clean and comfortable, and water pressure in the shower was great. The hotel only has 1 slow elevator and a tiny front desk/area. Parking is tight with about 15 spots on each side of the hotel and parking under the hotel in a garage, definitely not a good set up if pulling a trailer.

We had to come into town for 2 nights for a hospital procedure for my husband and couldn't be happier with the excellent service and room! Rae and Stephanie went out of their way to accommodate us with any requests along with the rest of the staff.Breakfast is A1 and really taken care of so well.We will definitely be back and will recommend to others!

Staff was very accomodating especially the front desk. They are very nice there. The room was ready for us when we got there, since a family member was hospitalized at UNC. I would recommend it

We showed up late and tired without a reservation. Stephanie, who was working the front desk was so nice. She obviously likes her job.
The room was clean and quiet. I also like that the check out is 12:00 noon. They don’t rush you out.
Will definitely stay again.

Very nice accomodations. Stayed over night before a UNC hospital appointment. Room was clean, bed gave me a back ache, but that happens. Pillow options were very nice.

Our experience at the Holiday Inn at Chapel Hill was very good. The front desk staff was very pleasant. The beds were comfy. 🙂 Breakfast was good and fresh with plenty of variety. The shower head was amazing! The hotel was quiet even with many guests. Parking was not an issue during our stay and safety was never a concern. Thank you Holiday Inn for the pleasant experience. 🙌🏾

At this price level, you are not going to get better. We loved our stay here. The staff was very friendly, The room was very, very comfortable. Breakfast was very good with hot omelets and hot sausages and potatoes plus a variety of other things. Very comfy beds, great shower, quiet. No complaints. Loved it.

Staff is nice and very helpful. Often the front desk puts out a sign saying they will stepped away for a few minutes (they are usually hiding in the office). The rooms are clean. The breakfast is OK, but not good/great. Simple and cheap food. They do run out of parking spots at night.

Nice, clean place. Free breakfast has plenty of options. Hot or cold. Friendly staff. Close to UNC/Duke. I'd stay again. 100% non-smoking cost them a star for me.
