I’ve stayed at this hotel a few times over the last few months for work.
The people that work here really made my stays more enjoyable. From the people at the front desk that checked me in to the bartender Ryan. They have a lot of good people all over.
It has also been such a pleasure talking to Natalie and Alicia each morning while I had my breakfast, they made sure that I had everything I needed for breakfast and they always help start my day on the right foot. They always had me laughing and instantly put me in a great mood. thank you everybody for helping to make each of my trips a great one!

Alicia and Natalie are exceptional people and very professional. They provide very cordial attention, they make you feel at home, they are very sociable and charming, they offer without a doubt the best service in the hotel.

I've stayed here probably 10 times now, for business. Things seem to be getting progressively worse. My colleagues were staying as well, but after water problems the last two times, they are switching back to the Hyatt.
The water temperature was very inconsistent and would get so hot you would burn your skin. They really need to fix that.
The buffet breakfast is pretty standard fare (boring and not that good). The continental breakfast options are decent. Fresh fruit in bowls was available, as well as bananas and oranges. The eggs and omelletes ordered from the menu were also good. The staff were very friendly.
The location is great - lots of dining options.

The rooms were a bit rough. Our toilet seat was broken & requested several times to fix it. Even housekeeping sent in tnr request to fix the toilet seat. If you want extra towels or pillows, you have to beg for them. I need extra pillows for an injury. They brought me a musty, fowl smelling pillow. I asked for another, and it took me 2 days to get an extra pillow.
The morning breakfast staff was the best part of the day. Everyone worked well together to make breakfast very enjoyable. Everyone was so friendly & kind.
This hotel is in a great location. It needs some maintenance & updating. Over all it was a good stay.

I have been staying at the Hotel for work. My recent stay at the Hilton Garden Inn was an enjoyable one. I especially enjoy my mornings with the fantastic service provided by Alicia and Natalie, they are always very friendly and attentive and the breakfast is always amazing.

Location was great. We were near plenty shops and restaurants. The hotel staff was awesome, especially Alicia in the dining area. Very nice lady. Was a good stay, 6 days and I enjoyed it. Its also attracted to Ruth Chris Steakhouse!

The Hilton Garden Inn Southpoint is located perfectly for our visits and we plan to book several future stays. Since my husband is quadriplegic, we require rooms with roll-in showers as well as accessible vanity areas. We appreciate that this hotel has those necessary items.
The majority of front desk staff, the houskeeping associates, and other hotel personnel were very friendly. They quickly recognized us as we came and went, welcoming and sending us off with personal greetings and kind conversation. Two staff members, Maria S. in housekeeping and Natalie in dining, were especially kind and added so much to our stay. They both went above and beyond to provide excellent service with positive attitudes.
My less than 5-star ratings on "rooms" and "service" were based on the difficulty we encountered in the roll-in shower, which was in a state of disrepair with bath products out of reach, and the disrespectful treatment we received from a member of management as well as a front desk associate. The difficulty seemed to stem from either miscommunication or misinformation between management staff members and a reluctance on the part of the front desk associate to bother management with guest concerns. She acted as more of a contentious gate keeper than someone interested in providing a positive guest experience.
I believe the policy confusion has been addressed and am hoping our experience spared future disabled guests this same treatment. As luck would have it, an unplanned encounter with the GM in the parking lot provided an opportunity to share our concerns. This seemed appropriate because the policy in question had been relayed as a change he instituted and expected to be followed. We appreciated his attentive listening and his assurances that the policy in question would be clarified. He seemed genuinely interested in hearing and addressing the confusion. We look forward to our future stays at the Hilton Garden Inn Southpoint.

I would like to thank the breakfast staff of Hilton Southpoint, Durham for the highest of quality in service and menu.
The food Buffett was the highest quality prepared with care.
Chef Stacy’s food was absolutely fantastic. I ordered the Power Bowl and would have to say this is one of the best breakfast's I’ve ever had, not hyperbole.
The buffet style eggs, bacon, potatoes, French toast and fresh fruit was better than any hotel food experience that I’ve had at any other hotel. So good!
Alicia, Natalie and Uncle Shawn were the best hosts and took the time to interact with our soccer team every morning (San Diego). They made the breakfast experience very enjoyable and really just made us feel at home. What neat people.
The morning front desk crew was so great. Warm and welcoming with a smiles and helpful demeanors.
Thank you all at Hilton Southpointe, Durham for such a great stay. We felt like we were at home with such hospitality.
We will be back hopefully to this part of NC in the future and would surly stay with you again!

Their water system needs work. When I turned on the water to shower, the first time, it was cold. I turned it off and chose hot water. It began to get hotter and hotter, no matter how much I chose to cool it down. One of my cousins, in another room, said that the water temperature stayed cold.

I have recently been staying at the Hilton Garden Inn (Durham-Southpoint) for work and have had a very pleasurable experience while staying there. The entire staff has been wonderful. I do want to give out a special shout-out to Natalie (dining area). She is always so bubbly when I see her early in the morning (for breakfast). She is quick to assist all that need help and does so with a very positive and energetic attitude! I will definitely go back to this hotel when I am in town, on my next business trip!

Had a great time here and I really enjoyed the hotel breakfast. Alicia and Natalie were amazing staff and were very warm and friendly. They made me feel very welcome during the duration of my stay! Will be sure to visit again in the future.

Been staying here regularly for over 2 yrs now. Great staff everywhere! Natalie in the restaurant is always cheerful and awesome. James, Stacey and Travis in the kitchen make me feel home. Ryan is always a welcoming at the bar.

Typical hotel with hotel amenities so can’t complain. The staff were all nice and informative. The location felt safe.
Situated between a strip mall and a mall across the street! Plenty of shopping and dining options!

Currently staying here. This hotel has been exception for our soccer team. Very accommodating, front desk staff is nice. The banquet staff were so friendly and provided top notch amenities. The gym is awesome, and Crystal up at the front desk was a gem. Will be coming back here.

Rooms were a little dirty on the 5th floor. Several in our group had complaints about the rooms being unclean.
Overall a decent stay and great location
