We’ve eaten-in here numerous times, and the food’s been very good. We decided to try takeout — we will not be doing that again.
Sauce on all 3 dishes was sticky and gummy. Beef in Hunan Beef tasted boiled, a really strange and unpleasant texture beef is not supposed to have. Cashew chicken had about 3 cashews. Overall bland flavor. We definitely would not order again, especially considering it isn't cheap. -
Very disappointed, for both food quality and service. It used to be good, however the owner and menu have both changed.
Cumin lamb was cooked with cumin powder, instead of cumin, thus it tasted very weird. Orange chicken is also so so. The only good one was moo shu beef. The food is overpriced.
Another thing made us uncomfortable is the server is judging the food we ordered. -
Had a decent dinner here. The food was quite salty in general but it was not bad. Portion is decent but is a little on the pricey side. When we were there for dinner, there weren’t many other people so the food was cooked pretty quickly and we did not have to wait for long. Plenty of parking spots as well. -
I’ve eaten here many times and the food is so delicious every time. So flavorful and spicy! My favorite is the dry hot pot and the cumin lamb. Really great authentic Chinese food! The manager is also wonderful and so kind and always recommends the best dishes! 10/10 :) -
I just tried them for the first time and I will definitely be ordering again.
I ordered online and got "Beef with Diced Hot Pepper", an eggroll, and "Sweet & Sour Fish Fillet".
The Beef with Diced Hot Pepper is just the heat I was looking for and expected this restaurant. The beef was tender and in a large sauced container. It had the mala numbness and there is definitely a spice tolerance needed to enjoy. It was very flavorful without being overwhelmingly spicy and bitter. I would look to order more of their dry spice dishes to compare. I would recommend if you have a good spice tolerance and can handle the heat as you will sweat.
The Sweet & Sour Fish Fillet was delicious. The sauce in a container that is separate from the container of fried fish pieces. The sauce is not like other chinese restaurants and feel thicker and not overly sweet and vibrant red like other Chinese American restaurants. The fish is fried right and isn't too oily or soggy (even when driving it home). It's a large portion for what you buy and I like the option of putting as much sauce that I wanted to tolerate. I would order this again in the future.
The egg roll is not too different from other places and I used the sweet & sour sauce from the fried fish fillers. Overall the pricing and unique dishes that you can order makes this a great restaurant and very underrated. I'll be ordering again.
