This folks - especially Guinn - have been a godsend during a challenging time while my Mom was inpatient at Duke Regional (which is super easy to access from this hotel)! They have a special rate and tons of understanding for people associated with the hospital - so be sure to mention that when you book! I am so grateful for the cleanliness, quiet atmosphere, quality breakfast, and kindness all the way around!

Great hotel. We stayed for 2 nights over Christmas. We stay at Hampton Inns a lot when we travel and this location is exactly what you expect. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The beds are very comfortable with nice pillows. The hotel is very quiet. The staff at this location were incredibly friendly and nice. When I asked for a late checkout, they readily agreed with no issues. I have family nearby and will definitely stay again.

We always seek out Hampton Inn and Suites when traveling in the United States. The rooms are always large with adequate storage and Durham/North I-85 is no exception. We found our room to be clean and comfortable, despite the fact we were aware they are remodeling. The reception staff were also very friendly and helpful. The people in the breakfast area were not very friendly or out going but the food was okay.

Great place to stay. My only complaint is that it's the only Hilton brand hotel I've stayed at that won't just charge my stay to my Hilton credit card on file. I'm a Hilton diamond member - I think they should be able to trust my credit card.

Gwen and the manager Tobias are the nicest people if everyone was like them two who wouldn't want to stay at this Hampton inn. I recommend if you heading to duke and your staying at a hotel this is the one you would want to stay at. It's clean as well. I really enjoyed the atmosphere is great

I liked my 4 day stay here. Pros: fairly new, impeccably clean, good water pressure, plenty of cookies and cake laid out each afternoon, sassy (in a funny way) front desk. Cons: breakfast is free which is a plus but is mostly unhealthy, not freshly prepared and only microwaved, pool was temporarily closed for renovation.

Right off the highway, great location, just be ready for the truckers at night rolling down that same highway if your room was on the backside!! Conveniently located across the street from banks, restaurants, and a mall. Service was good...Ms Brenda and another FD associate (didn't catch her name) were pleasant at the front desk. Another FD associate was a bit loud on the phone behind the desk when we arrived and could have taken that conversation to the back office. Cookies and breakfast were yummy! This hotel was very clean. Unfortunately, the indoor pool, which was the deciding factor, was closed upon our arrival due to the backorder of pool cleaning supplies.

Visiting for a funeral, this location was right off of the hwy, and warm cookies were waiting for our arrival. The rooms were nicely cleaned with plenty of towels and washcloths for our stay even though we brought our own. Being off the hwy, you do hear the louder vehicles like tractor trailers since we were on the back side of the hotel.

I stayed one night at this hotel when visiting a family member in the hospital. The room was the quality I've come to expect from Hampton Inn and Suites - clean room and bathroom, comfy beds, roomy enough, and a working frig and microwave. The employees I encountered were friendly, professional, and helpful; I felt welcomed. I would stay at this hotel again.

Rooms are nice, spacious and clean. Breakfast in the morning is out on time and has a good variety from day to day. The best part of the stay is the amazing staff members at the front desk, specifically Ms. Gwen & Ms. Shirletta. They are very informative and went out of their way to provide great customer service!

This lady Brenda was a lifesaver for helping me out with a much better room and experience. I was at a hotel the night before and I actually got sick from the dirty room. . I call this hotel in a panic and she heard my distress and immediately started helping me. I love myself some Brenda

very clean and neat. no problems. they even let us stay a little later till 1 pm without a charge, that was nice (It was a slow day). The breakfast in the morning is about average. The the room that you can eat in was very updated and comfortable. all around, good job.

Brenda, Chiquita and staff made our stay the best ever. There was an incident we had and they could not have been more accommodating. They were very helpful and even shuttled my daughter to an eye appointment so I could stay behind and take care of what I needed to. I would recommend this hotel and it’s staff to anyone. And everyone was so friendly on top of that.

Terence, a Janitor at the Hampton Inn Durham, made my day by the elevator today. He said good morning, then he simply told me, “Hey Sir. I just want you to know that Jesus Christ loves you.” I thanked him and told him He loves Terence the same. What a small but impactful gesture that left me smiling the entire ride down the elevator.

So when we first arrived, they unknowingly booked us in a room that was "under construction". We returned to the front desk and corrected the mistake. The staff was really friendly and the location of this hotel is perfect. It is right off the Interstate. My only bad complaint is that the furniture is dated. Looks like something from the 90s. If they update the furniture, everything would be great.

The hotel was clean and most of the staff members were Friendly and nice. Upon my check in, which was a bit early on Saturday evening May 27, the reception was a bit lukewarm. However I was able to check in early, so that was good. Other desk staff during the stay were very friendly.

This is a great hotel! The staff was very nice and accommodating. Rooms were very clean and well laid out. It’s conveniently located close to all the medical places without being right downtown. Kickback Jack’s restaurant is basically located in same complex. This was our second stay at this location this year and will be the place to stay anytime we’re in the area. Great job!
