The hotel was very clean, spacious rooms, 58 inch tv. Easy access to downtown Durham. Really great Breakfast selection.

Amazing customer service- had to make an unexpected stop here to avoid Hurricane Helene and accidentally made the reservation for the wrong night. The late night front desk staff were incredibly accommodating and helped make the change very easily. The staff made sure to provide late check out and a quiet room so we could get some good sleep.
Then ended up leaving a sentimental necklace when we left. We called, they found the necklace, and held it for the weekend until we could come back. So very helpful and kind!!! Would definitely recommend!

My experience with the staff themselves was pleasant, and dealing with the local manager was also. Unfortunately, my issue was that my truck was broken into. I hope some inside investigation occurs to see if security could have prevented this since apparently it is an epidemic in Durham.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure every detail of my stay was perfect. The service throughout my time there was outstanding, with every staff member going above and beyond to ensure comfort and satisfaction.
One of the highlights of my stay was the hot breakfast. It was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. Whether you’re in the mood for eggs, bacon, fresh pastries, or a healthy selection of fruits and cereals, there's something for everyone. The breakfast staff was also very efficient, keeping everything well-stocked and the dining area spotless.
The room itself was another reason why this stay was so memorable. It was immaculately clean, spacious, and designed with comfort in mind. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had one of the best nights of sleep I've had in a long time. All the amenities, from the plush towels to the modern decor, made me feel pampered and relaxed.😎

I highly recommend this hotel!!! Clean, rooms are beautiful and spacious. Beds are comfortable. Hot breakfast was very good. Convenient location and easy to get to highway. Near downtown Durham.

My stay here wasn't bad, but wasn't outstanding either. The check-in process was fast and seamless. It could have been faster had I used the app. Nevertheless, I was greeted and received my room key promptly. The room was cleaned, and nothing out of the ordinary to note other than a few strands of hair on the bed sheets. Fortunately, it was just me in the room & I slept on the other bed. Discovering the hair made me wonder about the overall cleanliness of the room and how well the staff actually cleans the rooms. I decided to remain in the room. I often heard tons of noise from the hallway and my neighbors, but I'm easy-going and it didn't bother me.
The hotel features hot & cold breakfast. The choices aren't phenomenal, but are a definite plus over any Continental breakfast. The hours are from 6 - 10 a.m. which should accommodate early and late risers. The lobby features a 24/7 coffee "bar", which is great for my fellow caffeine addicts. They also have a decent snack room to satisfy light cravings or water. Prices are a bit steep and you may be better off getting snacks/drinks from a nearby gas station.
Finally, the elevators are extremely slow and patience is required. They were also poorly kept and had significant dirt and litter on the floor, and the carpet was very worn. However, the have signs posted to "excuse the mess", but I didn't observe any crews making enhancements. Overall, I'd probably stay at this hotel again because of the convenient location off I-85 and cost.

We were worried when we arrived because all the common areas were filthy. They had signs up asking to forgive the mess because of renovations but the floors looked like they had not been vacuumed in a long time, didn't look like construction mess. Our room was clean and in good shape, the staff was very friendly and helpful just very surprised how dirty the floors were in the Lobby, elevator and dinning area. I was Diamond for 7 or 8 years so I have been in a lot of Hamptons but this was not normal.

Great place to stay. Very clean, safe, and secure. Definitely a good place to be. The pool was very nice. The breakfast potatoes and sausage desperately needed some work though. But overall I would stay here again.

This folks - especially Guinn - have been a godsend during a challenging time while my Mom was inpatient at Duke Regional (which is super easy to access from this hotel)! They have a special rate and tons of understanding for people associated with the hospital - so be sure to mention that when you book! I am so grateful for the cleanliness, quiet atmosphere, quality breakfast, and kindness all the way around!

Great hotel. We stayed for 2 nights over Christmas. We stay at Hampton Inns a lot when we travel and this location is exactly what you expect. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The beds are very comfortable with nice pillows. The hotel is very quiet. The staff at this location were incredibly friendly and nice. When I asked for a late checkout, they readily agreed with no issues. I have family nearby and will definitely stay again.

We always seek out Hampton Inn and Suites when traveling in the United States. The rooms are always large with adequate storage and Durham/North I-85 is no exception. We found our room to be clean and comfortable, despite the fact we were aware they are remodeling. The reception staff were also very friendly and helpful. The people in the breakfast area were not very friendly or out going but the food was okay.

Great place to stay. My only complaint is that it's the only Hilton brand hotel I've stayed at that won't just charge my stay to my Hilton credit card on file. I'm a Hilton diamond member - I think they should be able to trust my credit card.

Gwen and the manager Tobias are the nicest people if everyone was like them two who wouldn't want to stay at this Hampton inn. I recommend if you heading to duke and your staying at a hotel this is the one you would want to stay at. It's clean as well. I really enjoyed the atmosphere is great

I liked my 4 day stay here. Pros: fairly new, impeccably clean, good water pressure, plenty of cookies and cake laid out each afternoon, sassy (in a funny way) front desk. Cons: breakfast is free which is a plus but is mostly unhealthy, not freshly prepared and only microwaved, pool was temporarily closed for renovation.

The entire stay was fantastic and the staff were more than attentive. Michael, who took care of the breakfast room was terrific! I look forward to staying here again, and I highly recommend this location.
