Owner and founder Karen Poulson has been serving South Durham in this taproom's Hope Valley Commons location since 2014. Growler Grlz has 42 taps, an extensive wine list and a patio. You can also find regular trivia nights, a run club and other fun games in the taproom.

Been a couple times, and both times, they’ve had friendly staff and a great selection of beers. Outdoor seating is available, and sometimes they will have musics or entertainment. You can also order pizza from Randy’s next door, making an evening of pizza and beer easy and fun.

Love this place! We have been going regularly since they opened several years ago. It’s a great spot for a casual date night or meeting up with friends. Love the patio and also the indoor option. You won’t find a better beer selection in Durham. The staff is excellent, knowledgeable and always friendly!

Friendly and courteous bartenders. Great patio space. They have 2 nice patios actually. And a great extensive beer menu. I am always indecisive because of the vast variety. Check this place out and I guarantee this will be your 2nd home.

Ya'll must go run immediately this place is absolutely fantastic great beers! Great venue absolutely a must stop in NC! Staff was incredible. You will not be disappointed and merch is great!

I love this bar. It's my kind of place. Just walking through the front door puts a big smile on my face.

Amazing selection that always changes, super friendly and helpful staff with great taste and can always guide you to what you're looking for! Great live music on Friday nights in the summer. It frequently wins local awards for being "Best Neighborhood Bar" for a great reason! 10/10
