Freeman’s Creative craft supply store will have everything you need to do some serious crafting with your haul from The Scrap Exchange, located in the same shopping center. While they do have great crafting supplies, they’re not just a store. Freeman’s Creative also offers a range of classes for crafters of all skill levels.

I love it here.

I took an intro to knitting class at a different local yarn store and decided to check out the classes at Freeman’s since it’s closer to where I live. I basically haven’t left since.

The knitting classes have been great, Amie is patient and thorough and my knitting skills and understanding continue to grow.

The staff are always kind and helpful and Amelia the owner is so knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with.

They do charge $1 to wind a skein of yarn, which I think is a little unusual. But having wound a skein by hand myself, I think that’s a very reasonable fee.

I’ve begun to dabble in sewing, and so now Freeman’s is there for me with fabric and thread and knowledge and support in my new hobby quest.

Freeman‘s is the most delightful little shop, ran by a team of extremely knowledgeable and friendly folks. Fabulous selection of so many supplies, especially yarn! One of my favorite small businesses in Durham.

BEST CRAFT STORE IN THE AREA!! The store is always clean, tidy and always has the best items stock!! For all the craft necessities and best materials!! Freemans creative always has my back when it comes to yarn, knitting and stamping:)

This is the best all around crafts store in the Triangle!! They have a little bit of everything! The staff is always welcoming and happy to answer questions. Anytime I visit I end up walking out with at least one purchase! The yarn selection is fantastic and they carry a few lines that other shops in the area don't have. I also cannot rave enough about their fabric, notions, and pattern selection!! They've been my saving grace for thread since JoAnn (rip) closed! Such a wonderful shop and I love their commitment and support of their community and surrounding businesses.

This place is so great. Soooo much great stuff. And everyone is very knowledgeable and helpful. They helped me pick yarn, needles, and a pattern and I am now the owner of a new knitted hat, super soft and hand knit. AMAZING!
