Foster's Market

Foster's Market has a charming cottage café vibe. Head over for breakfast or lunch and enjoy a salad, soup, sandwich or one of their many baked goods (perhaps a slice of their indulgent peanut butter pie) on the patio or lawn. On your way out, stop to peruse their selection of local gifts, including jams, coffee, toffee, cheese straws, grits and candy, along with cookbooks and kitchenware.

Foster’s Market
Went in for breakfast today and it was a solid win!
- *Food:* Delicious, hit all the right spots.
- *Coffee:* Strong, smooth, and just the right kick.
- *Vibe:* Chill, good for a relaxed start to the day.
Overall, a great spot if you want tasty breakfast + good coffee without any fuss. Will swing by again. -
Loved bringing my dog here and having a wonderful brunch. I like how they were set up to seat yourself, order upfront and someone will deliver your order. It made for fast service. -
Without a doubt, some
Of the best food you will eat anywhere. I consider the prices the lowest I've seen for the high quality of food. The deserts/cakes are to die for. The food shop has wonderful selections to take home. If you are near Durham, you have to visit! -
It’s a cute place! It’s defintely lived-in and loved over time and there is a lot of merchandise to look at in the market.
There were a lot of food choices, and I can’t speak for all of them, but I got a breakfast burrito and a blondie.
The breakfast burrito was very mediocre - it was very bland. It tasted like there were no seasonings put on it and the salsa that came on the side was also relatively flavorless. The size was reasonable for the price. ($15) but I didn’t realize adding a protein would be an extra $4.
The blondie looked way better than it tasted but it was okay. I personally don’t prefer nuts in baked goods and there was no indication of nuts added but not a huge deal.
If you’re looking for another counter service, grab your silverware, drinks, napkins, buss your own table, but still pay restaurant prices ($40+ for two people) and expected to tip 20%, and get fine food, then this is your spot.
Cute place to hangout at with a lot of outdoor seating -
this was my first time coming to Foster’s and it definitely won’t be the last. .We were looking for a breakfast spot in Durham and they had the perfect breakfast menu with lots of options. upon entering you order at the counter and then they give you the check to go pay at the cashier. We ordered the huevos rancheros and breakfast burrito. They had a huge selection of breakfast dishes, along with sandwiches and wraps. there was plenty of seating inside and outside . our food came out pretty fast and probably about 10 minutes. Once the food is ready, they’ll bring it out to your table. while waiting for the food browsed all the local items that they had around the store. this is such a cool local restaurant to come when you have people visiting from out of town. I can’t wait to come back to try the lunch items
