I haven't been a member here for several years now. Because it is affordable, I put up with the equipment not being so well maintained. But this new parking situation is ridiculous. There are never any spots because of the hotel taking them all.

bhushan helped me with a great tour. the whole locker room, facilities, and other members were very friendly and the place is quiet and clean. it exceeded my expectations for a close gym! will 100% be considering the membership ..

One of the best places I’ve worked out at with some of the best workers! They are very nice, polite- Tamah and Maliyah are very jovial and ecstatic on a daily basis! And whenever I have a question, they give me the best insights if they don’t have an accurate answer but always point me in the right direction!

Beautiful gym, the people and staff are so friendly. They have trainers for anyone new, and also they sell supplements on site, so really helps new members get started. Also guaranteed basketball runs every weekday 6:30-closing.

I've been a member for 4+ years... I think what makes this gym are the people both staff and gym goers. Everything needed for an efficient work out. 🏋🏾♀️ shoutout to Tamah who greets me by name each time she sees me. I feel extra special!

I called with questions regarding memberships, AK was friendly, sociable and most importantly confident and knowledgeable. He was open about the seasonal pool, informed me that I needed a Durham Address for the 5-day pass and encouraged me to make an appointment to open a membership. Definitely titled me towards choosing Fitness Connection!

This gym has an amazing atmosphere — positive, energetic, and motivating from the moment you walk in. There’s friendly faces, and plenty of space to get a solid workout in. The staff and gym-goers are super friendly and respectful, which really makes a difference. Tamah is awesome, makes you feel welcome when you come in to workout
The equipment selection is good, alot of machines, free weights, and variations for every muscle group. Whether you’re into strength training, cardio, or functional fitness, there’s something here for everyone. Everything is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
If you’re looking for a place where you can train hard, feel welcomed, and stay consistent, this is definitely the spot.

Great gym! It had great quality workout spaces and equipment. I will definitely go back when I stay at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel in Raleigh-Durham. Now that’s a great perk!

Great gym, good layout and variety of equipment. Seemed like everyone had good gym etiquette during my visit. Only critiques I have are: 1) cold water from the fountains/water bottle filler fountains, 2) turn down the gym music; most everyone has headphones so you have to blast your headphones to drown out the gym music

Decided to join the gym and Chris was very helpful getting us started! He gave my sister in law and I a great tour of the place, went through machine use with us, and much more! Great attitude and definitely made us feel comfortable as woman!

It’s a pretty large gym with ample parking spaces. As you can see from the photos there are lots of different rooms geared for specific workouts. The cardio machines, weight machines and free weights are mostly on the 2nd floor. The atmosphere is clean, friendly, positive music and well lit. It appeared to be pretty well maintained, lots of stations to wipe down equipment before and after use.
I only got to engage with one staff member Jordan at the front desk. He was very kind, helpful and provided good insight on where I may want to head within the building after asking me a few questions. I’d say he provided great customer service.

Probably the best bang for your buck in the area. Best features are the turf room and basketball court, but they also have a variety of workout equipment. The staff are also very friendly.

Great staff... Very Kind and Inviting.The Gym opens up on time which is rare now a days. The Gym goers are friendly. There are two levels which is great so there can be a distinction from the CrossFit style and Bodybuilding style.
Also the basketball court is also booming on Tuesday and Thursday... Also the front desk employees always has a smile and willing to help

I have been going to this gym for 7 years now. I know Rashad pretty well, as he opens it every day. He always welcomes me in, despite it being 5am. I have come to see the same folks, almost daily. There is an unspoken bond between us morning folk; keep to yourself, nod occasionally and don’t bother anyone. Just the way a gym should be.
Does it have a smoothie bar? No. Does it have someone offering kale juice? Hell no. Does it have liftable iron, low/no wait times and machines for all you need, just in case you want to isolate? Yes. Yes. Yes.

I've been going to this gym for a few months now, and I’m really impressed with the overall experience. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and has a wide variety of equipment for both cardio and strength training. There’s never a long wait for machines, even during peak hours, which I really appreciate.
What stands out the most is the customer service. I brought a friend with me and Rashad was very welcoming and took time explaining the difference between the membership packages as well as sharing about the access we’d have to other locations should we travel.
This gym has definitely made it easier for me to stay motivated and stick to my fitness goals. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a supportive and professional gym environment.

I like that you can always find the right workout time for you. They don’t just cater to the “professional “ fitness folks but all levels of fitness feels welcomed here. You are greeted by a wonderful group of front desk folks and they remember who you are.

My experience with Fitness Connection has been wonderful. I own a in home daycare. I saw that the gym had once had child care here for the members. I spoke with Reggie to see if the gym wanted to donate anything from the child care center… and he told me that if I saw anything in there I wanted Sure.. I got some very nice chairs that I got to use in my daycare…I’m very grateful and just want to thank Reggie for the donation…sincerely Lolita
