I tried this for the first time with two team members during lunch, and we had a positive experience.
La Cucina Italiana serves delicious Italian food with excellent service and a warm, inviting atmosphere.
We tried three different dishes, and the pasta was cooked perfectly, the calzone was tasty, and the sauces were rich and flavorful. The portions are very generous, and you can tell they take pride in their food.
The vibe inside is nice and clean without an overwhelming food smell.
The staff was friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere from start to finish.
It is centrally located with plenty of free parking.

If you’re looking for a fresh, feel-good dining experience in Durham, Farmside Kitchen is definitely worth a visit. I recently tried their farm Caesar salad, and it was outstanding, crisp, flavorful, and made with incredibly fresh ingredients loaded and with chicken. It’s the kind of dish that feels both light and satisfying at the same time.
What really set the experience apart, though, was the atmosphere and the people behind it. I had the chance to meet the CEO during my visit, and that personal touch made a big impression. Warm, approachable, and genuinely passionate about the food and mission of the restaurant.
Overall, Farmside delivers not just on the quality. -
I wish this place was local for me because I love the concept in the food. Only a here once and I got the farm bowl with extra chicken and it had great flavors. I would’ve probably preferred chicken breast, because most of the meat looked like it was dark meat, but overall the combination of the kale and sweet potatoes were a welcome departure from the typical bowl, places that lean toward Mexican flavors

Cute place with a unique menu. We were excited about it because it looked super healthy. Probably a bit more dressing I would have hoped for, even with "light" requested. Not quite enough protein but ingredients were fresh and the flavor profile was excellent!

Farm Caesar, avocado toast, and strawberry rosemary lemonade to drink. All of it is delicious! Quick in and out. Friendly staff, clean restaurant, and great food and drink! Doesn't get any better!
