I was looking for a place to meet for a business lunch. Saw the high Google reviews and chose this restaurant. It was busy, but the line moved so quickly. We were barely ready with our choices when it was our turn. I ordered the rancher and my business friend ordered a bowl that she created. The food was excellent, the service was quick, the strawberry rosemary lemonade was the best drink I can remember having. Highly recommend.

La Cucina Italiana serves delicious Italian food with excellent service and a warm, inviting atmosphere.
We tried three different dishes, and the pasta was cooked perfectly, the calzone was tasty, and the sauces were rich and flavorful. The portions are very generous, and you can tell they take pride in their food.
The vibe inside is nice and clean without an overwhelming food smell.
The staff was friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere from start to finish.
It is centrally located with plenty of free parking.

If you’re looking for a fresh, feel-good dining experience in Durham, Farmside Kitchen is definitely worth a visit. I recently tried their farm Caesar salad, and it was outstanding, crisp, flavorful, and made with incredibly fresh ingredients loaded and with chicken. It’s the kind of dish that feels both light and satisfying at the same time.
What really set the experience apart, though, was the atmosphere and the people behind it. I had the chance to meet the CEO during my visit, and that personal touch made a big impression. Warm, approachable, and genuinely passionate about the food and mission of the restaurant.
Overall, Farmside delivers not just on the quality. -
I wish this place was local for me because I love the concept in the food. Only a here once and I got the farm bowl with extra chicken and it had great flavors. I would’ve probably preferred chicken breast, because most of the meat looked like it was dark meat, but overall the combination of the kale and sweet potatoes were a welcome departure from the typical bowl, places that lean toward Mexican flavors

Bowls are made fresh to order. I like the customizable option. Restaurant atmosphere gave nice vibes and was very clean. Outdoor seating available..perfect for a beautiful day like today. Did not enjoy feeling like I was being rushed through options as a 1st timer, but my fault for going during lunch time. My salad was absolutely delicious, though!
