"Brewed until surreal," Asheville's Dssolvr opened a taproom in Durham in 2023. Here, you'll find a range of beer styles, including lagers, English ales, IPAs, sours and more. The dog-friendly taproom hosts regular events and is decorated with psychedelic, alien-themed art. Located in Durham’s Warehouse District, there’s plenty to do nearby.
Awesome local place with a super friendly staff! Love all their artistic and community events as well - there’s always a cool featured artist and lots of classes and workshops they hold too. Especially love the annual Shrektoberfest!!

We enjoy the large selection of beer available at DSSOLVR, and particularly the fact that they also carry a lot of nonalcoholic beer options as well! It’s a fun, friendly environment, and I love the outside patio as well!

Love the atmosphere and the beer! Very chill plus they have drink specials everyday. Lookout for fun events, which they host daily. The beer is excellent and they’re dog friendly 🐕 Feel free to bring in your own food too!

This place has the best staff iv ever seen or talked to, they are so welcoming, and the place looks so clean. Their GF sour menu is to die for. They have a beer that tastes exactly like a PB&J sandwich. Their brewers are wizards.

Great beer in a relaxed atmosphere. They have tons of options for beer, so you can't go wrong there, but also cocktails and shots as well. Plenty of room to sit down, with an assortment of games to choose from while you drink. They also have a cooler with beer to take home if you want to go that route. They do not serve food, but I believe there are options nearby you can bring in.

This brewery is among the best I’ve been to in this area. It has an effortless low-key vibe, but there are plenty of things to do. They provide free NES gameplay, board games, events, and more. They also have art for sale from local artists. It’s very clean. Josh, the bartender, is welcoming and knowledgeable! 10 out of 10 would recommend the Kolsch and the Italian Pilsner. Definitely will be coming back.

Great vibes, great beers, great people. You have to try the PB & J sour, as close as you can get to eating an actual PB & J.

We decided to check out their Tuesday trivia, solely because they have a lot of gluten free beers on the menu. Even though they're a 40 minute drive for us, it was worth it.
They had quite a free GF Sours (which I have had a heck of a time finding). Although almost all of them were exceptionally sweet, there was one (Blah Blah Blast) that wasn't too sweet. They also have GF ciders, seltzers and wine, along with plenty of other beer options that aren't GF.
It's a cool spot and allows dogs, which is awesome! They have plenty of dog toys and water bowls for your furry friend, should you have one to bring.
It's also right across the street from the Durham Food Hall, so if you're hungry, you can either grab food and bring it with you or get it delivered.
Overall, it's a pretty cool spot. Just a bit of a haul for us to check out regularly.

Loved this place! Great staff and cool aestethics. They seems to always have e something going on as well. They allow dogs so now worries if you have a canine friend with you. They also have table games, classic Nintendo, and other things to keep your friends entertained. Can't wait to come back.

Great beer and vibes! Be careful about trivia night, it gets rather crowded. Liz was the bartender last week, and did a great job. Very inventive beers (the blueberry muffin, cheesecake sours, and snake blood are my favs). Good place for a board game- silent book club is also great!

Great spot in Durham! Good selection of drafts and if your group doesn’t like beer they also have wine, seltzers and cocktails. The beers we tried were delicious though so definitely recommend! They’re also dog friendly and have treats, dog toys, and beds. Fun selection of games to keep the party going. Check Dssolver out!
