I had such an amazing experience today at Davids Bridal in Durham NC, with the help of Amya. She catered to every need I had and accommodated my sister and I through the whole process. She helped me pick out options that would best fit my plus size body, made me feel comfortable and confident and was overall amazing to work with. I ended up walking away with a dress that was to die for! Even though this store is closing soon and everything was on sale, Amya and the rest of the staff were all a pleasure and that didn't affect the service that they provided.

I have nothing but good things to say about David’s Bridal! I didn’t care where my perfect dress came from, I would’ve been fine finding it at a boutique or a chain like DB. But you can’t imagine how thrilled I was that my perfect dress ended up being at DB! Not only was it exactly what I had been looking for, it was a third of the price it would’ve been at a boutique. The stylist, Portia, gave me an equivalent, if not a better, dress try on experience than I had at the boutiques I went to. She was actually the person who found my wedding dress for me, I never would’ve tried it on had it not been for her. On the price again - everything with weddings is so expensive. My grounding belief on finances for my wedding day is I’ll only sign on the dotted line if I feel really good about what I’m buying and that it’s worth the price they’re asking for. I didn’t have a moment of doubt that was the case for my wedding dress from DB. The price they were asking for was incredibly fair and it made me feel great about that purchase. I never would’ve felt that way buying from a boutique. Lastly, their alterations program was fabulous. Again - very reasonable and transparent prices and my seamstress spent an hour and a half making sure I was comfortable with all the changes and associated costs. I’ve had friends who went through awful alterations experiences and I was thrilled to feel like I’d found a company I could trust with my wedding dress without overcharging me. Give David’s Bridal a chance- I’ll be recommending it to all my friends!
