Bull City Ciderworks crafts gluten-free hard ciders made with 100 percent apple juice and no high fructose corn syrup. Falling somewhere between wine and beer, the ciders incorporate flavors from honey, black tea, hops, ginger, tart cherries, bacon, candy corn and hibiscus to create unique ciders different from any other on the market. Try a cider from their core menu, like Sweet Carolina infused with local honey, for a taste of the South.

We were there for a dog adoption event and I decided to try one of their ciders. I got the Tart Cherry Cider and it was really good. The location is great, but the parking is somewhat challenging to find. I love that they had a lot of ciders, since I have Celiac and am gluten free. But I would love it if some of their beer offerings were also gluten free/gluten reduced.
The space itself is awesome. They have a large game room with a pool table and arcade games, that one of my teenagers really gravitated towards.
And the dog adoption event with Freedom Ride Rescue was great! So many lovable dog options, from young to old, and the fosters were very knowledgeable about the temperament and backstory of each one. Overall, a great experience! -
The only food is a food truck outside. The cider was tasty. The outside was comfortable, but if it's been rainy, which it has the day before I went, there were muddy spots. Overall, nice place to hang out for a beer or cider and chat. -
Love this place! They have a great selection of ciders. I am not typically a huge cider person but they have ones that I like! They have unique flavors versus other places that just have like three fruit flavors. We got flights which is always tons of fun! They also had board games so we were able to play and hang out while we drank. There’s a pretty good amount of seating. We went on a Sunday so it was dead but I still think most times there would be enough seating. -
Really awesome cidery! All the ciders we tried tasted great and weren't overly sweet. Staff was really friendly and helpful in walking us through the menu. And I always appreciate a spot that has a bunch of board games available. For beer drinkers, there are several local taps available as well ... and while we were there, a food truck was on site (and whatever they were making smelled delicious). -
The night was spooky, October 31, 2022. The rain soaked parking lot, though it was rather elusive, served as a starting place for a night of tasty terror. We started with a freaky flight and loved the honey cider best, a bloody good treat it was. Would most certainly come back.
