It's a good place for a filling breakfast, or you can order lunch/dinner at any time. It was my first time going, and my kids loved it. The dining area is smaller than I thought. So I would recommend coming early between the hours of 7am (open) to 9 am just so you can sit and eat comfortably. I came in at 8 and left around 9 and noticed that's the golden hour of when it started to pick up. I recommend the French Toast, and if you have kids, the kids' platter or combo is filling for a child (nice size pancake). I will say that the fresh fruit should be into smaller sizes and peeled better because my kids had a hard time eating it (melon and pineapple), and the orange slice can be better too. They do offer takeout as well with parking spots reserved in the front.

This used to be our favorite place for breakfast as a family growing up in Durham, but recent visits have solidified the fact that it is no longer what it used to be. There’s one particular hostess that greets people with a mumble and no eye contact as if she’s annoyed that you came in. Our waiter took our order but we never saw him again. My grits were ice cold. You know it’s bad when the butter doesn’t even melt. Hospitality is gone and it used to be great. So sad. As a former commercial banker this is typically the stage before a business goes under. Then the owners will be wondering what happened.

This is my favorite diner style breakfast in the area. The pancakes are exceptional, the Benedict’s are amazing and the specials are really diverse. It’s the only place that actually makes eggs scrambled soft (in a bowl super runny!) the way I like. It can get busy on weekends but we’ll worth the wait.

I got the seasonal caramel apple waffle bacon, and home fries. My only critique is the toppings on the waffle could have been a little more. BUT the waffle itself was great! My husband had pancakes and eggs and enjoyed his food as well. The staff were friendly and very attentive. I would try this place again! It was so packed and I see why. The food was great overall. Not over priced and great portions.

I went Saturday morning and there was a waiting list we waited around 30 minutes. The service was kind and quick, our waitress was super nice. I really liked my breakfast but I won’t order again grits, the potatoes are better for side.

Haven't been to Brigg's in years. I'm never on that side of town. I had an appointment very close by and decided to go for breakfast while waiting for the mall to open. I took my mom, and we had a delightful breakfast with great service and no wait. I got the special eggs benedict with prosciutto and feta with a side of grits, and mom got the berry pancakes. Everything was as delicious as I was expecting. The ambiance is down home, quaint and local. Even when they are busy, it feels like home, and the food is always great.
