Went for the first time last night and it definitely won't be the last! The food was pretty good (the bang bang shrimp and brussel sprouts were amazing!), but the service was top tier! Our server Shaun was very personable, full of energy and kept us laughing the entire time we were there! His recommendations were spot on and he for sure provided a 5 star experience. I will certainly be back again in the future and hope we are able to snag Shaun again as well. Exceptional service these days is rare and it was so refreshing to experience it last night. Way to go Shaun, keep up the awesome work!

Good evening Google Family. My very first time visiting this location of Bonefish Grill. Eric F. King, our mentor brought us here to celebrate the success of our day, speaking. I have patronized the Bonefish Grill in Newtown Square, PA. I ordered a dinner that included salmon and chicken. It was so so good. Two of the distinguished speakers left, Tara and Dr. Pat. I truly enjoyed the company of the other speakers tonight. Tabas is our trusty driver who has been driving us around, everywhere. It was a good night and a great experience and now I am going to the gym to work off the bread that I ate plus the other seafood. Have a good night, workout, be active and mobile, fit and fabulous especially for people over the age of 50 years. Carson was our wonderful server who aimed to please. Carson was quite the efficient type.

My family and I went to Bonefish Grill in Durham on a Sunday for what we hoped would be a nice brunch. Unfortunately, it turned into one of those meals where everyone at the table starts looking around wondering if anyone else is enjoying their food.
The food was rough. The breakfast potatoes were so overcooked and dry that I am pretty sure they had seen things no potato should ever have to see. The Eggs Benedict was even more confusing. The eggs were cooked all the way through like hard boiled eggs. When you order Eggs Benedict, you expect a nice runny yolk, not an Easter egg.
The service was fine and our server was pleasant, but the pace was painfully slow. It took a very long time for the food to come out, which only made it more disappointing once it finally arrived.
Brunch is served from 11 to 3, but I would personally skip it. It is expensive and Durham has way too many great brunch spots to settle for this. We came looking for a relaxing Sunday brunch with family and left wishing we had picked just about anywhere else.
I will give credit where it is due though. The $5 mimosa deal was actually pretty good and probably ended up being the highlight of the meal.
Maybe stick to dinner here, because brunch was definitely not the move. -
Too many issues…
First, I had to have a discussion about seating since I didn’t I want to sit next to the couple making out OR on top of another customer when the restaurant was only 20% full. The hostess actually had to go back and check with the manager and then came back and asked me would I move. I sent her back to him to inform that I wasn’t moving.
Next unrolled my utensils and the black napkin had a white stain on it…Not sure how it was missed when rolled up. It was pretty obvious.
Had to ask for a new glass after showing water glass filled with ice was dirty…
Requested bottled water and they had it, but it was not chilled (kinda crazy cause it’s 100 degrees out)…
Had wait over 15 mins for bottle of water and bread (after coming in from hot temps) while server had conversation with a lady at the bar…
Bread plate was extremely dirty (mgmt wouldn’t even touch it when I showed him)
Regretted my decision to sit away from the door because the employees at the bar serving area were so loud…laughing, joking, playing, gossiping about each other and customers…
Food took over 30 minutes in a mostly empty restaurant and came out room temperature. (Asked about it to another server and he mentioned it was still on the screen to be cooked.)
$25 salmon smaller than my fork…
Server was a nice young man and so was manager, but too many issues to come back to this location. Manager took off the appetizer (bang bang shrimp) on for the issues above which is 13% off my bill which is laughable.
Pay attention to the first red flag and leave immediately or better yet go to another bonefish. -
Excellent food choices. Very good service. We enjoyed the special that includes salmon, shrimp and tuna. Highly recommend!
