This was my first time ever going to a Bob Evans, I was expecting so much more. We walked in and the waitress said ill be back to seat yall. So we said ok no problem. She sat us. We were the ONLY guest in the restaurant. She got our drinks and didn't come back until 16 minutes later to take our order. After bringing our food she NEVER came back to check on us. Never asked if we needed condiments or drinks. Never brought napkins. She sat down and was on her phone. The food was ok. It was nothing that I would go back to or tell anyone else about. The turkey was salty and the ham was very dry. The roast was very good with the potatoes but the carrots were no good at all. My husband said his food was good. He ordered breakfast so it was freshly cooked. I could tolerate the food if the service was even a little better. -
I love Bob Evans restaurants, but this one was too warm inside for a 90+° day. The server was very nice, but there weren't enough servers to keep everything running smoothly and efficiently. The gravy wasn't up to par for my friend who ordered breakfast. My grilled chicken salad was fruit was delicious. The room just needed to be cooler and the service faster! -
Ordered the dinner for 2 for 26.99 got charged for 38.99. When I asked the waiter about it he said he would get it fixed. Manager came over and explained that we ordered appetizers that were not apart of the deal, we were supposed to order either a soup or salad. Our waiter never explained that to us, he said to pick any appetizer and never mentioned that we were limited in our options. Manager said best they could do was a 10% military discount. Very disappointed in the service. Server also only came back one time to refill drinks during the service. Never checked up on us after that. Food was ok, i ordered the honey butter chicken and biscuit. There was barely any honey, and I was supposed to get two chicken breasts but only got one. We also never got our dinner rolls that was supposed to come with the meal. Yet I basically had to pay full price! The place was empty as well, not like it was during a big rush or anything so im surprised the service was this bad. Im sure it was probably just an off day, the resturant is probably not a bad place to go, I would try again. Most likely at a different location. -
The food was very fresh. The summer berry salad with chunks of blue cheese was very tasty. The beef soup was so so, but the chicken salad sandwich was good. I saw a sign about their slow roasted turkey so I also got a turkey sandwich to go. It was served on regular toasted wheat bread. Seeing as they have a bakery there I expected at least a brioche bun. So disappointed 😞 and for what you end up getting the price was not right. It was fresh and hearty though, I'll give them that. -
The place itself is clean but the food was horrrrrrible. I had to completely send my food back because it was not what I even ordered. Didn’t get a starter item I ordered. My daughter got a strawberry little farmers. It came out with no strawberries on it so they took it back to add them and it came out murdered in strawberry liquid and like 2 half’s of a strawberry. No refills. Just really disappointed, as bob Evan’s is one of my favorite places.
