I had the most amazing experience at Aurora Flow in Durham. As a lesbian woman, feeling safe and respected in wellness spaces really matters to me — and from the moment I walked in, I felt completely seen, welcomed, and comfortable.
I booked a 90-minute blended relaxation massage with reflexology, and it was honestly one of the best massages I’ve ever had. Izzy has the BEST hands. The pressure was perfect, the transitions were seamless, and the reflexology portion was incredible — I left feeling grounded, relaxed, and fully reset.
Izzy made me feel so comfortable the entire time, checked in thoughtfully, and created such a calming, affirming environment. You can tell there’s real care and intention behind what they do.
If you’re looking for a queer-affirming, peaceful, and truly skilled massage experience in Durham, Aurora Flow is it. I will absolutely be back 💛 -
I cannot emphasize enough how wonderful and patient Brandy is. I’ve had two massages with her and each time she’s been so warm and inviting. She has magic hands that know how much pressure to use and can sense where tense spots live in one’s body. She always makes my day better, and if I could afford a membership I’d be there every month! 😭 -
The vibes at Auroraflow are *immaculate*!
I drive all the way out from Chatham County to get work from Jess, whose work is so relaxing and flow-y that I lose time. Thanks, Jess! Each room is painted with a different cool mural, the lighting is superb, and the inclusivity feels so welcoming and is what we need in the world. Everyone is always so kind and helpful. Highly recommend giving this place a try if you are looking for a real, down to earth, holistic bodywork experience. I’ve had a facial here, too, and had a great experience then as well!
Ps: I’m a massage therapist myself so I know what I’m talkin about! -
Carissa did an amazing job on my facial! My skin looks and feels incredible, and the entire experience was so relaxing. The environment was kind, welcoming, and friendly, which made it even better. I loved it so much that I ended up purchasing a membership. Highly recommend Carissa and this spa! -
