food was tasty but it was too salty. we ordered two main dishes and three noodle dishes. the two main dishes were great: cauliflower and pork intestines. the noodle dishes were too salty we had to tell the waitress. she was very kind about it and took it back to the kitchen. the chef added in some fresh noodles to dilute the sauce and it turned out great! if you dont eat too salty, you can ask the kitchen to put the sauce on the side. overall everything is good but can be too salty

Wow, what a find! This was some of the best Chinese food we ever had, such wonderful depth of flavor. The eggplant stew was absolutely incredible. The service was fast and friendly. We're still talking about this food a day later, and will absolutely come back!

Great authentic Chinese food. Above average compared to other places. New menu from new management. I recommend the den den hand spun noodles, stir fry yellow beef and stir fry string beans as one order for 2-3 people. Will update if food quality goes down.

Definitely the best restaurant here in Durham! I love spicy food and can’t find other places here. If you want more chilis you can ask them to add it. Great service! Will come back often.

The beef noodles at this restaurant are absolutely fantastic! The beef slices were tender and flavorful, and the broth had a rich, comforting taste. The best part was the handmade noodles made in a traditional Chinese way. It was cool to see the chef making them right there.
The chef is from Hunan and the food really showed the region's flavors. It was a tasty meal. Finding a place with such different flavors was awesome.
Just so you know, it's a bit more expensive compared to similar restaurants. If you're okay with spending a little extra, Asian Kitchen is a great choice. The handmade noodles and the chef's skills make it a special place to eat. Go for it – you won't regret it!"

Food (beef noodle, braised noodle, shrimp fried noodle, dry hot pot pork intestines, hot pot preserved pork with bamboo shoots and stir fried lamb) was great, but we have to wait 30 minutes to get the first dish because our order got stuck in their system. Also the waiter forgot to refill the water even after our request.

Most authentic Chinese food in the RTP area!
If you are a true spicy food lover, this place is for you!!
The ramen is really great, the noodle is 100% hand-made. The soup is also wonderful since it’s naturally stewed beef soup. Unlike the noodle in other restaurants, I didn’t feel any artificial flavors in this noodle soup, which is a rare thing!
Other dishes are also great, they are naturally seasoned, and they have a lot of different authentic natural spices and that’s what makes their food unique in the RTP area!
I will definitely come back, probably once a week!

Fresh hand-pulled noodles are delicious! They make it in front of you. Come try it out. Soup noodles, fried noodles, spicy noodles. Knife cut, or just straight noodles all have the QQ texture.
It did take a while to get seated and to have our food come out but it’s worth the wait. I’ll be back again.
P.S this is soft opening so they’re adjusting some things. My party was hungry so I didn’t get to capture pictures of the food we ate-

This place recently changed the owner, so the old review doesn't work anymore. I heard the owner said they did soft opening on last Thursday.
I ordered the noodle called Shandong noodle which taste really good! My hometown is famous for noodle so i am super picky for the taste, but the noodle was really good! You can also see the owner do the noodle performance if u order it!

Very authentic Chinese food!! You can find really spicy Szechuan and Hunan style dishes here. Sauteed Frog is a must-eat if you like spicy. Hunan roasted pork is a really good non-spicy choice, too. Also, they are the only restaurant have all kinds of “shaved noodles” in RTP, which is very popular in China but hard to find in US. We already came twice within 3 days. Definitely will come back again very soon!

I had the Indian style curry rice and it was great. I just felt like it needed a bit more salt but we'd always rather have less salt than too much salt.
