The food is always great. Several meal choices, good for adults and kids, and big portions for a great price. This location is in downtown Durham, so it seems small, but it actually has lots of seating inside and out. Margarita is the nicest person ever! She always has a smile and is super helpful. She treats everyone like family and makes us feel right at home. Love coming to this location! -
Most delicious chicken!
Incredible fries!
Great black beans and rice!
Don’t miss out!
My nephew has been raving about Alpaca for a few months and I finally tried it. It exceeded expectations!
I went to the location near Duke. I love that they serve the food on real plates and they use real silverware!
I’ll be back the next time I’m in Durham! -
This Alpaca in Durham NC off Nineth near Duke University is the best one I have been to. I would normally come here at least once a week and do takeout. The food is always on point, hot and very tasty. The food is always top tier fixed well and very fresh. The manager Esteban as well as the rest of his amazing staff always gives the best customer very friendly staff. I dined outside for the first time at Alpaca and the table was clean no bugs or flys in the area and it was very peaceful. Check them out you will not regret!!!! -
I expected just average food but was totally blown away. The food was ridiculously delicious. The staff was super friendly and the restaurant was very clean. Large portions and decent pricing. -
Excellent food. On recommendation I got a “Quarter Dark, with sweet plantains” and then got the green sauce for chicken dipping. Was not disappointed, except no Dr Pepper. Outside dining available. Inside is pretty noisy.
