The food is always great. Several meal choices, good for adults and kids, and big portions for a great price. This location is in downtown Durham, so it seems small, but it actually has lots of seating inside and out. Margarita is the nicest person ever! She always has a smile and is super helpful. She treats everyone like family and makes us feel right at home. Love coming to this location! -
Most delicious chicken!
Incredible fries!
Great black beans and rice!
Don’t miss out!
My nephew has been raving about Alpaca for a few months and I finally tried it. It exceeded expectations!
I went to the location near Duke. I love that they serve the food on real plates and they use real silverware!
I’ll be back the next time I’m in Durham! -
Excellent food. On recommendation I got a “Quarter Dark, with sweet plantains” and then got the green sauce for chicken dipping. Was not disappointed, except no Dr Pepper. Outside dining available. Inside is pretty noisy. -
I expected just average food but was totally blown away. The food was ridiculously delicious. The staff was super friendly and the restaurant was very clean. Large portions and decent pricing. -
Food itself was very good. Chicken seasoning is not too strong. Chicken was very tender. Corn and cole slaw sides were tasty. Portion sizes are not the largest given the prices. We ate outside in the enclosed patio. It's Durham, so don't be surprised to have a homeless person come into the outdoor seating area or be wandering through the parking lot. But really only criticism is value for money spent. A little pricey for the amount of food served. Thanks, Biden.
