Looking to explore Durham by bike or get a workout in during your trip? Durham has plenty of options, from mountain biking trails to paved paths that run for miles, perfect for cycling. There are also a number of local, independently owned bike shops that offer rentals. Browse the listings below to find what you need to hit the trail.

You also can check out the video below to see what a bike ride through Downtown Durham looks like. It runs from Duke University's Sarah P. Duke Gardens to Golden Belt, clocking in at 4.2 miles and about 25 minutes. (You can see the route here.)
