I just left this restaurant and want to be sure to add to the pervious reviews that the oxtails are delicious. To be clear these are not like Caribbean oxtails. These are southern style with gravy and rice. These were totally worth my money, time, amd the drive. I would definitely come back for this dish again and again when I want oxtails. My only complaint were that the green weren't in the same level as my other items. I would rate the oxtails 10/10, greens 6/10, and Mac and cheese 9/10. Since I came for oxtails I would rate my meal a 9.5/10. Next time I will try different sides. Cost $21 plus tax with two sides and rice. Cornbread was solid. Plenty of parking, courteous service and clean restaurants.

Man look at here look at here when I tell you this food is so good it'll knock your socks off I got the oxtails mac and cheese collard greens potato salad and cornbread 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 I haven't met no one yet to make gravy the way they make but my mama and you know how you go to some restaurants and you be like this was all right this is all right this is good now everything on point! WILL I BE BACK YES I WILL!!! 3HR DRIVE SO WHAT I COMING BACK SOON!

Food is top notch, everything is delicious. Went in to have some authentic soul food and the food surpassed expectations. Super helpful staff and amazing service.

Not sure if the lady at the register is the owner but her customer service is 10/10. I've been twice so far and customer service is always fantastic. My daughter loved the ribs. The fried fish has a great taste, very flavorfu and not salty. Same with the fried shrimp. Can't wait to return soon.

I've heard about this place and finally went to go try it. I ordered the Fish&Shrimp dinner with Potato Stuff and Pinto beans the other plate was Fried Chicken with Mac-n-cheese with collard greens.
My personal preference would have been if the fish was bigger or more shrimp. But it was good. The fried chicken was good just right but the mac-n-cheese needed more cheese or sour cream. Overall a solid meal. I will be back. The cashier was Jo she was a delight

This was me and my wife first time trying V’s Kitchen. Excited to say we were very pleased with the food and service of the staff; especially the night manager Jo-Jo, if I am not mistaken. We had ordered a few meals to try: 1-pork chop sandwich, 2-ox tail meal with double mac w/ corn bread, and the 3-two piece chicken dinner with greens and sweet potatoes w/ Dinner Roll. EVERYTHING was so good. 10/10 will be back and will share the word.

I love this place. The ox tail is the best I have ever had. Great customer service as well.
Just mind that at the dinner time, the ox tail would be more tender but also more salty than at noon.
The only wish I have is the food quality would be the same every time I come.

First time and definitely won’t be my last! Food was EXCEPTIONAL! My 8 year said it’s a 10 out of 10…and that says a lot because kids are the most honest people ever!

I got the oxtails w/rice, mac n cheese, cabbage & cornbread for the Second time! Food is soo good. I swear I don’t eat anybody’s mac n cheese but my own, but V’s Kitchen? I’d eat theirs EVERYDAY 😋

They’re the BEST restaurant in the area! I’ve been here countless times and they’ve always been exceptional! The presentation’s beautiful and depth of flavors were powerful & heavenly with every bite. I could literally taste the love and skills that went into each dish. My favorite’s are the finger lickin, mouthwatering ribs. 🤤😍 The service were always delightful! If you’re looking for an enjoyable time and REAL flavorful food this is it! 💯💯recommended!

NEVER COMING BACK…Unfortunately, I’m a long time customer who’d been bragging about this place. Never again! Today, I asked for fish and shrimp(fried hard), sweet potato fluff, greens with cornbread. What I got was greasy soft fish and shrimp and a roll I wasn’t expecting. I called to report the matter and they had me bring my order back. Cool. I’m mad I have to come back, but hungry so I go back. What they gave me in return, for an already messed up order, was fish fried so hard it dried out the meat. Did they take me literally or were they trying to be funny? I’m not sure. Either way, I couldn’t eat the fish, waisted money, and won’t be back. I’d rather cook at home.

Received a call from Night Shift manager with apology and offer to make me another meal or receive a refund. I chose a refund because I just didn’t have a taste for it anymore. 3 Stars because I can really respect the prompt action and sincerity of management to make it right. Thank you!
