Duke University’s focal point for visual arts is the 65,000-sqare-foot, Rafael Viñoly-designed Nasher Museum of Art. The permanent collection includes Medieval art, pre-Columbian American works, classical pieces, and an ever-growing list of modern and contemporary works.

The striking building also houses an auditorium, two classrooms, and a café that host a wide variety of programs, including lectures, talks with artists, film series, social gatherings, and more. Revolving collections also include exhibits that travel around the world, ensuring that the Nasher is always an exciting and fascinating destination, and a great place to explore art in the region.
