Really tasty pizza with an excellent crust. Service was friendly and fast. Conveniently next to the parking deck. Beer selection seems a bit more limited than I recall, but still some good choices.

Never ate at mellow mushroom before. I am in the Durham area for the night and trying different spot. So mellow mushroom was one on the list. I came due to it being known as a pizza place. I haven’t had pizza in a while and figured it would be a different taste of pizza ( like they own signature style). Ummm… they was decent.. nothing I would rush back to for pizza. I order the Mighty Meats Pizza. Not saying it was good, because it was good.. for a pizza. My first order the Chicken Philly with no bread . He said it was delicious.
Next time I will try something else. Staff was pleasant and atmosphere was to.

Very nice place, kept very clean & staff are all friendly.
The pizza is fantastic (me and my family split a large House Special).
I highly recommend for the food & atmosphere, alone.

I’ve been in the industry for over 20 years, and can be pretty critical. Took my wife and 3 kids in tonight, and it was stellar. Perfect food that came fairly quickly, and Nate gave us outstanding service. Thanks for a great experience.

My husband was in a wheelchair there were stairs to get inside, but he was able to get to some of the outdoor seating. The food was great. We got pretzels and a thin crust pizza with pepperoni and jalapeños. The service was great. I thought we might have been neglected, because we were the only people eating outside, but they made sure to come out and check on us and got all our food out to us pretty quickly.

I have never had a bad experience here. Went to grab a bite before heading to the DPAC. We ordered appetizers and they were enough to fill us up. I was seated immediately while waiting for the other member of my party, the wait staff was very nice, and the food was on point. And just a hint ... the Esperanza is good on pretzels and pretzel bites. I think it is normally a salad dressing or something.

This was my first time eating at this Mellow Mushroom location and I got a Mighty Meaty Pizza and Pretzel bites and the food was amazing! My server Treasure was very helpful and did the best she could to provide great service. I will definitely be coming back here soon!

This was my first time visiting a Mellow Mushroom restaurant, but it wouldn't be my last. Everything we had was delicious. The atmosphere is busy but in a good way. A family-friendly atmosphere. We had the naked wings, pretzel bites with beer cheese dipping sauce, and a variety of small pizzas. My eleven year old son wanted to come here after visiting one in another city while on a summer camp trip. He had a split pizza with pepperoni on one half and plain cheese on the other side. He ate all of it! I had the great white pizza with steak added on. Absolutely loved it. Soo cheese and gooey. It's one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten. Our waitress Kristin was excellent. The whole staff was friendly. My mom had the house special. She said it was a great combination of vegetables and meats. I'm so happy we visited this place. It is a great place for anyone who wants pizza; gluten free, vegetarian, and anyone in between. There are more items on the menu that can allow anyone to dine in case you don't want pizza or you have a special diet requirement.

Hellooo!!! This pizzeria was recommended by a local…
Just spent a night in town after helping friends move from miami… So this was my only dinner in durham before my flight back to south florida.
I built my own small pie with kalamata olives, sliced tomatoes, and anchovies. Nice crust, 10 inches.
Our waitress suggested a local ale “a little cloudy, not too bad”. Convincing enough. I had a white street kolsh. Just delicious.
