Finally made it here after passing by it all the time. It was a nice mother daughter outing with my mom. I ate the fish special, grilled flounder I believe, and it was delicious. Service was hit or miss… Kendell was great at breaking down the menu. He steered us well despite the place being so busy!

Best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had. Could not stop eating them. Also loved the cornbread. Fun, chill place for dinner - not my favorite food ever but definitely above average. Nice staff as well.

Second time in Durham, second time here. Our waiter Ryan S. was phenomenal, helping us make decisions that were top notch. Carolina Pimms, the Brussels sprouts and lamb burger were all awesome, and the apple tart he suggested for dessert was *chefs kiss*. Be sure to stop here when you’re in the area.

I wanted to love it. Atmosphere of the place is cute, shrimp n grits was ok, I’ve never had it in a broth type sauce but the flavor is good, wished for more grits. Brussel sprouts were meh. Very plain :/ staff was attentive till I needed to pay I finally went to the bar and asked if I could cash out.

This is a great spot to grab brunch, but it can get very busy. All of our food was great. My favorite were the hush puppies since they have a little spiciness to them.

Ambiance and the vibe was great. It’s in a secluded area with a lot of trees and it just feels awesome, especially eating outside. The beer selection was diverse as well as their cocktails. Me and my wife started off with a Caesar salad, then followed with the steak frites. The salad was good, but the steak was VERY underwhelming. It was tender, juicy, the presentation looked gorgeous but on the first bite I knew it was missing… a lot of seasoning. It’s like they just grilled it to perfection, but forgot to add flavor. My wife and I both got the steak and both had similar opinions. I make a great steak, and usually restaurants I’ve been to have been tip for tap, if not better than mine, but hell, I could’ve made a better steak. Everything else apart from the steak was A+. Very tentative waiters and respectful as well.

The aesthetic of the place was really cool. I enjoyed the art style of the metal animals. The food was awesome. My fiancé and I shared the Sweet Potato Fries with Hot Honey, I got the Berry French Toast and she got something with Salmon. We really enjoyed hitting this place up for brunch and would love to go back to see what else they’ve got for lunch or dinner.

First time coming here, and was not disappointed! The Brussels and Mac n cheese were absolutely amazing. We split the coconut curry and that was perfect as well. Great portion sizes, loved the atmosphere as well. Prompt service and friendly staff. Not to mention carefully crafted cocktails! Will definitely be coming back!

What a great local spot! Strolled in off the street from out of town and so glad I did; the hostess was pretty frazzled but my server Landon (I think?!) was super friendly and responsive. Cast iron pimento and Brussels sprouts were delicious, cocktails were pared down and flavorful. Love the rotating menu with locally sourced ingredients! Definitely will be back.

We were in town for some Drs appointments, and found this restaurant on Yelp. The atmosphere was great (we also went a few minutes after they opened). The only complaint is the bench seating against the wall was low-anyone with balance issues or struggles to get up and down would have some trouble.
Our food was amazing; although my dad and I both thought the grits with the shrimp was missing something (cheese maybe?).
Kendall was the best, engaging, answered our questions, made suggestions, jokes with us and wished us well on our way out. We definitely would go back and try some different items on the menu.
