They are so friendly and nice. The rooms are nice. I will absolutely stay here again if I am in the area.

Exceeded expectations, especially for the price. Beautiful rooms & caring staff. You can tell this is well run & maintained.

Great stay overall. We were joining others for breakfast so we did not have the free breakfast. Our one experience in the recent past with Hyatt place free breakfast was that it was superior in quality to comparable Hilton chain breakfasts.

Lisa and Noel are the best. They both offer exceptional customer service. I will always stay at this location when I’m in town. The hotel is close to the interstate, shopping, and dining. I highly recommend this hotel.

Started off a little rough.. the room wasn't up to standards.. however management and housekeeping got it resolved.. the breakfast had a-lot of options.. however the certain foods were way better than others in quality.. overall the property was clean and the employees we did interact with were friendly.. the location is great.. in close proximity to a-lot of stores and restaurants.. Would be willing to stay again because of the customer service...

An amazing stay with a beautiful view! We stayed on the highest floor (7) of the Hyatt place. The view was superb. The views from floor (6) are also beautiful by the way. But let’s be real, a view alone doesn’t make a good stay at a hotel. So let me tell you why I gave them 5 stars… Staff: The staff was friendly, efficient and super welcoming. If you needed something they helped immediately. There was a problem with someone leaving their dog in their room all day into the night—the dog was crying and barking for hours. The staff was so accommodating and allowed us to move rooms, which was helpful because I had an early start the next day. Property: The property was nice, quiet and had a homey feel. The rooms were cleaned well. The hotel does show some wear on some of the room walls and certain spots on certain room carpets (they are a pet-friendly hotel, so this may be why). The halls were clean. You could not hear the elevator even if your room was positioned near it. Amenities: The amenities were great. The 24hr gym, the business center, the outside saltwater pool opened till 10 pm, the delicious looking snacks, the downstairs bar and Starbucks coffee were all spot on and completed the homey feel. Location: The location is great. You can walk to nearby restaurants and Aldi’s grocery store is a stone’s throw away as well. It was decently close to UNC Chapel Hill (12 minutes away) and other desired locations. Breakfast: Breakfast was good! Even for someone who is more restrictive on carbs, I was still able to eat the eggs, sausage, cheese, and salsa. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay Hyatt Place. My family and I enjoyed ourselves.

OK Hyatt experience. Checked in relatively late into the evening. Wasn't offered bottled water that comes with status, so had to ask for it. Room was fine. Could be cleaner. Did see some stains and some random hair leftover. Parking is a bit of a pain, since it could be a trek to walk over if you need to park in the open lot. But plus that it is free. Avoid breakfast. Really inedible. Open to staying here in the future based on free parking and being more budget friendly.

In town for a few days to get my kid enrolled in UNC Chapel HIll. I see this hotel is a category 1 on the Hyatt app, which is fine by me so let's keep the secret. The staff is super friendly and the free breakfast in the morning has grits instead of oatmeal and the food overall is pretty good. I eat oats daily for breakfast and have stayed in many Hyatt's and they all have oats, so I was talking to the food service director and he said "I do grits"...yeah I like that. There is a pool, a workout area with Pelton bikes and dumbells up to 50 pounds. They also have a food drone delivery area which I did not try out since you have to download some app...I have enough apps. In the same parking lot, there is an Aldi grocery store (very small btw), a local burger joint and Bonefish Grill. Up the street in walking distance is a Chick Fila and Target and other places to eat like Home Goods. Apparently the Target is a Super Target...it's like a Super Delegate I guess...it's big. A bit further is a mall and I saw a Ruths Chris sign near one of the hotels over there so this place is in an excellent location. I'm in the area a few more days seeing family and I'll be back next week here for a couple days. There is a laundry room also. Good value (only 5000 Hyatt Points) for the money for sure. Oh, only gripe is the bathroom door, there was no way to lock it and if you go to the john at night, you going to wake up others in the room if they don't like light. Back for two more nights. Still got grits and still great service although I did find out today that this hotel does not recycle yet I've noticed just about every other Hyatt I've stayed in does recycle. Was thinking it was an east coast thing, but I think the one I recently stayed in DC did recycle so I hope they fix that.

Decent hotel. Plenty of parking with the deck on the side. Room was spacious and it was pretty quiet. Front desk lady wasn't super friendly but maybe she was having a bad day. Our room wasn't ready ar 4pm but it didn't take them long to get it ready. Very close to I40 and the South Point mall.

Great Hyatt location. Staff is incredibly friendly, rooms were nice and clean (we booked 3, so we have a good idea) and they allowed us to do a pretty early check in because they weren’t super booked the night before, which was nice because we’d just finished a 10 hour drive! Views from all of the rooms were nice and the pool was extremely clean. Overall a fair placed Hyatt with the typical Hyatt expectations. Cynthia at the front desk was also so kind and helpful when asked any questions. Thanks Hyatt Durham/Southpoint!

The good was the location and amenities. Breakfast was great. i loved the variety of food and nice seating area i just wished it would last longer than an hour and a half. (Not a con, just a preference for those of us who wish to sleep a little later Breakfast was from 8-9:30 if i remembered correctly)The rooms were nice, The towels and shampoo, body wash, and conditioner felt good on skin and hair. Not, far from the airport close to the mall. Had an ev charging station. The bad There is no microwave in your room. You have to go down the hall by the ice machine and wait in line and share one with all the guests on your floor. For what I'm paying per room, i want my own microwave. My sheets were dirty and had blood stains on them. I spoke to the staff, and they said they would call housekeeping. Nothing happened. Ran out of toilet paper, same scenario. I had to track down housekeeping for everything myself. Then they looked at me as if i was crazy. The internet goes out frequently, and you have to re-sign in constantly. I gave up and used my hotspot. Went to their restaurant, they were out of everything but salads. I and 2 other guests went to the restaurant across the parking lot in the rain

Room was somewhat clean, but definitely not perfect. Staff was fine, rooms were fine, but I did have several seconds of full yellow water running out of my sink hence the three star review.

Super clean hotel and made with accessibility in mind. Walking distance to two restaurants and Aldi's. Free drone delivery services for other local restaurants. This pool made me very happy to see

Stayed here for cancer treatment 2 weeks ago. Very nice staff and very cleaned room. On treatment day, treatment wasn’t over til 830. Called Hyatt and was able to get another room with ease. Will be staying here again for my next treatment
