Easy parking, nice people, soft beds, huge bathrooms, and the best part......check out is 12! We stayed one night and would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

My husband and I just spent 5 weeks here while he received treatment at Duke Med. I can't say enough nice things about the staff. The breakfast had variety, not the same 'ole thing every day. The housekeeping staff was the friendliest I've met, and I've been in a lot of hotels in my life! Norma, Jasmine and Skylar were particularly cheerful and helpful any time we asked for something. Barry went the extra mile to help clear up issues that involved the cable TV company and come back to check on us to see if it was working after his persistent efforts. Several good restaurants are a short walk or drive away, and getting back and forth to Duke Med was a 6 minute easy drive. We'll definitely stay here again if we have to return for a lengthy stay!

I came here with a large group. Working with Jennifer, the sales director, was awesome. Her communication was great and things were really smooth. Ti’Anna who worked the front desk was amazing. She was friendly, calming, supportive, and very down to earth. The rooms were clean and spacious with a really nice setup. The location was close to lots of great places. We also got great service from the bartender Destinie. :) Would definitely come back.

The location and staff make this hotel unique and worth returning to. The exterior and amenities are attractive and suitable for the price. As of summer 2023, some of the rooms and furniture are feeling a little worn -- I heard a renovation is coming soon though. But it's the staff's willingness to do what is right that makes this a hotel to return to.
I had lost my keys and returned home without them. House Cleaning did not find them but engaged with the Building Engineer based on my claim that they were last on the night stand. They disassembled the nightstand and the keys had indeed fallen inside. The Front Desk Manager shipped them the same day they were found. This effort took the coordination of three willing and dedicated teams and they were quick. Their effort saved me a huge headache and I am quite grateful. I travel a lot for work and found their willingness and effort exceptional. They earned me as a repeat customer.

I stay at this location a couple of times a month for work. There aren’t enough great things to say about the staff. Janine and Ti’Anna both treat guests here like family. The rooms are always clean, and the location is very centrally located in Durham.

Good location in the Durham, rooms are slightly cramped as compared few other residence inna I have been to. Parking is $12/day, what is off-putting is the experience while checking in. Extremely rude and ill-mannered. They don't even greet, don't respond to greetings and extremely rude in their transaction. Not staying here again.

My kid had an appointment located in the Duke Children's Hospital and we decided to stay overnight because we live 3 hours away. Parking was easy & you pay with on your phone($12 every 24 hours). The lobby was beautiful. Rooms can have phone entry locks if you download the BonVoy app. You can also check in/out via the app. The breakfast was good. Included croissants, scrambled & boiled eggs, turkey & pork sausages, oatmeal, cereal, waffles, and the usual bagels, bread/toast, yogurts, etc. I don't drink coffee but my mom & kid both said it was good. There's also a nice big bar in the lobby that opens in the evenings. They have a nice little outdoor seating area as well, complete with a fire pit table. No rooms on the ground floor, but they do have 2 elevators. When my kid goes back for their next appointment we will be staying here again.

Overall a great experience! The rooms were in great shape and very clean. With plenty of open space. The staff were super friendly and helpful! They also have a little history museum which was cool to look at!

Convenient location, walking distance to the Durham Bulls stadium. Our outlets didn’t work in the room, but the staff was amazing. Thanks to Glora, David and Brian for a great visit to Durham!

Check in was easy! Loved having my room key on my phone! Room was nice! Breakfast was delicious! Close to the train station and North Carolina Central! Looking forward to our next stay here!

Love this hotels history. Previously a hospital, now Residence Inn, this hotels staff are great and rooms always above expectation
