Amazing and delicious, and the friendliest place in Durham, goat curry and lentil samosas all the way!

Great food at a good price. Cooking feels home-style, everything comes out fresh and well-portioned with sides. I'll definitely be back. As a rec: I got the goat curry with jollof rice and collard greens, and it worked well together.

Really delicious! Great spot for tasty vegetarian food too. The samosas were really good. I also recommend the kidney bean dish. Friendly servers. I'm looking forward to going back!

This is a hidden gem in Durham just across Club Blvd from the School of Science and Math. I have been here a few times; this time I ordered Nairobi beef. My friend got goat curry. Both come with lovely golden turmeric rice and spinach. Tender chunks of beef are served in a tomatoey sauce. The goat they use is of excellent quality.

OMG the palace international was music to my taste buds! The food was perfectly cooked. I got Fried fish in a curry sauce and my boyfriend got a goat plate. The service was excellent. If you want good food good vibes and to have a good time the palace international is the place to go!

I don't have the vocabulary to accurately put into words how much I love this place. The prices are extremely reasonable for the amazing (consistent) quality of food. The chicken curry, beef, (lentil or veggie) samosas and chapatis are all amazing. The owner is the most beautiful human on the planet. She'e extremely kind and remembers her costumers. She has provided nothing but the absolute best service anyone could ask for. I can't wait to go back!

I just had the best dinner of my life here. We came for their Valentine's menu, which was just bursting with flavor, and included 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, 2 drinks, and 1 dessert for $65. Great price for seriously great food. The service was fast and super friendly. The atmosphere isn't overly fancy or anything, but if you're just looking for good, unique, African food, go here now. Also, great vegan options!

Amazing, authentic food. Large portions, distinct flavor, and comforting options. My husband spent time in Kenya and this place is the real thing. Thank you!

Best samosas. Soooo crispy and flaky, with tons of filling. Owner is very sweet as well!
