My son was married in Durham in March. We rented the whole inn for the weekend for our family and friends to stay with us, and to host the rehearsal dinner Friday night. We felt lucky to have discovered the Kings Daughters Inn -- a perfect fit. All of the guests loved the inn's charming ambiance, it has the feel of a large, stately, comfortable home. Our rehearsal dinner spanned the first floor, from the dining room to the parlor, with the bar in the sunroom. It was a wonderful setting for our evening together before the wedding. The staff was enthusiastic and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfasts in the dining room were casual and relaxed and the food delicious. Highest recommendations!

Top-Notch service! I have been extremely pleased with the services I've received from the staff and from Sidney. Throughout the planning process for my event, I had several changes happen along the way and Sidney was more than accommodating! If you're looking for a nice, quaint event space, please ask for Sidney. You will not be disappointed.

Be prepared for an AMAZING experience from checkin to checkout! The rooms are super unique, the shower pressure is out of this world & the customer service was impeccable. A special shout out to Robert for the port & chocolate room service!

Attended a wonderful class of skillpop's, a bit of a drive to go from home to here but worth the effort. Class was well worth my time, and the inn is amazing, and very welcoming. Impressed. Imagine guests quite happy to stay!

If your son or daughter is at Duke, this is the place to stay when you visit. Charming accommodations, friendly and courteous staff, we wanted for nothing during our stay. Wine and liquor also available. Free snacks, water, soda, coffee and such. There are no refrigerators in the rooms, so bring a cooler if you want to store beverages in the room. Plenty of ice available for that.

Very comfortable, super friendly, and beautiful decor! The simple but delicious breakfast. Slight mildew smell, but worth to stay. The water pressure in the small bathroom was so powerful.

Me and my wife stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights as we travel a lot... Beautiful building very historic. Breakfast was phenomenal made with love we can tell. Every night we got a bit of wine and chocolate and our rooms were always cleaned every morning by housekeeping. Building was clean and the living areas around the building just beautiful...... Everyone loves this building!!! The only issue we had was the front desk woman kept talking and we were very exhausted and wanted to go to our room. She was very nice but very overwhelming when we first stepped into the building she had a lot of questions to ask us. Still 5 stars because we will be coming back we just would appreciate a little more space coming into the door. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!

Yooooooooo, breakfast was awesome on Sunday morning. Waffles and baked roasted veggies omelette. The group staying in our room did not leave in time so we were moved to a different room.the room was fantastic and we were offered a awesome deal for our "inconvenience." I still haven't found out what the "inconvenience" was, because the room we were given was fantastic.
