I really enjoyed my suite. The bed was comfortable and cozy. Parking was accessible and abundant. The breakfast options were varied and fresh. Staff was kind, approachable, and professional. There was some construction making the pool inaccessible, but I did not use the pool. I would definitely stay here again.

Needs a facelift. Wallpaper peeling. Pool area is so chlorinated you cant breathe in the area. Really nice workout facilities and very friendly staff. Cute snack gift bag and nice breakfast.

Loved it!!! We stayed almost a week and had great service, clean room, yummy breakfast and quiet space. The weekend was a little louder with a lacrosse team in town but other than that...it was great!! Would stay here again and again!! The free bottle water is a plus!!

Very nice spacious space for a family with two teens. Breakfast with eggs, sausage, waffles in the morning was a nice start of the day. Two sinks makes life much easier in the morning. Bathroom was indeed nice with enough shampoo for the entire family.

I had a motorcycle anniversary party last weekend and this was our host hotel. The rooms where clean and the hotel staff was great. I had set it up with the event coordinator and she accommodate my needs. Chris who was the the manager of the event sales helped out a lot. I would definitely stay here again and my guest had nothing put good things to say about this hotel and their stay.

This hotel and staff are so wonderful that we have stayed here on both our visits to Durham. Rooms are spacious, pool is nice; but the staff members make this fantastic! Thank you!

They took cash and the beds were very nice!!! It wasn’t as expensive as we thought and after looking all through town for somewhere to stay they were the only ones to help us

This hotel received a 3 star because they had racist staff member who charged me and my fiance for the same room. It's more to the story than I would rather explain. The African American front desk person immediately apology and corrected the problem. The brunch was nasty. My family begged after the second day at the hotel to please go somewhere else for breakfast. The hotel was clean which is super important to me.

Awful plumbing worst than hotels in 2nd world countries The water gets hot as ever no matter which way you turn it if you shower after 10pm. In the morning with more volume i would think the shower wasn’t awful. Nice amenities decent pool below average gym, slightly above average free breakfast. Nice staff there’s a shuttle. Rooms aren’t awful but nothing special I liked the layout but they are dated.

I've had a lot of luck with SpringHill Suites in my travels. This one is just OK. I was in Durham for a follow up doctor's appointment from ankle surgery. When I made the reservation, Kim at the front desk was fantastic. She asked what was the reason for my visit and I told her of my situation. She offered a 1st floor room close to everything. When I got there, on crutches, the night clerk had us on the 3rd floor, nowhere near the elevator. I politely asked if I could be on the 1st floor and I got an annoyed look and was told that no rooms on the 1st floor were available. The next day, Kim was at the desk when I checked out and she noticed I was on the 3rd floor. She was confused and perturbed that her notes had been ignored. Anyway...probably more information than you needed. Bottom line is it was an average Hotel...at best (with the exception of Kim, who was a sweetheart).

What a great stay. After a long drive from NJ to NC I was greeted by a nice young lady behind the front desk who was from NJ. Check in was a breeze and even though we were a few hours early our room was ready ! It was exactly like the pics online. We got a double bed room which had a nice separate bath and vanity, a decent size table to set up our laptop, and a couch area to relax. The room was very clean. Considering the great price we paid I thinking was a great buy overall. Every staff member we passed stopped to say hello. The front desk also provided us with a new selection of nearby restaurants and delivery options. I went for a dip in the pool which was warm and they had plenty of fresh towels for you to use. The beds I thought were small but nothing different from any other hotel. My son loved the free lollipops at the front desk ! They also have complimentary breakfast which was a mix of cereal, yogurt, pastries, eggs and Canadian bacon. They also have a decent selection of snacks and travel essentials at the little market bin the lobby. I would ABSOLUTELY stay here again and recommend it to anyone.
