So happy this venue is in the area. I will definitely be going back and recommending to my friends. I must say however, the music was blaring with the first group and the singers microphone did not produce a crystal clear sound. Also it was uncomfortably warm in there at times.

Good food choices, food comes out hot. Wait staff professional and courteous! This is a dinner club atmosphere. What this means is it is general admission. You have to be there early to get the front tables, but all the seating is good. You can order drinks at the table or from the bar. Parking is plentiful too. Great sound system in place.

Came to support an academic function. Nice space. Not pretentious. Fits in the neighborhood and enhances.

My first time and it was a blast! Marcus Anderson was amazing as well as the opening act! The ambience, size, seating, and the smooth vibe of the place makes it a 6-star spot in my opinion!

New to the area, wanted to explore entertainment venues and came across Rhythms Live Music Hall. Came to see Sinbad and his band, he did not disappoint. Sinbad is still hilarious plus he plays the guitar and drums! The venue was large, friendly mixed crowd, the stage was highly visible and the food available for purchase was very good and reasonably priced. I will be back!

Rhythms live is one of the best kept secrets in Durham! It shouldn't be a best kept secret but it is. Gail Nelson from New York City performing her Billie Holiday at the Emerson Bar and Grill was one of the most outstanding evenings I've spent in Durham. Sweet Dreams featuring Ric Parmley was another evening of an incredible performance by this band. They will be back next Thursday and I will be sure to be there and bring some friends. Tonight I had the pleasure, the esteemed pleasure of witnessing one of the funniest comedians in Show Business. George Wallace! And all I can say is what a time, what a laugh, what a show!!! He is still one of the funniest men in Show Business. And I admire him greatly for keeping vulgarity and profanity out of his dialogue. He could give modern-day comedians a lesson on how to be funny and keep it clean. If he ever comes back to Durham I will be sure to be there and suggest you do the same. Laughter is truly the best medicine and there wasn't a dry eye in the house. Rhythms Live also offers dinner by Backyard BBQ. We need a little help here only because it is the same fare every show. There is no variety. But it is tasty and if you just want to Nosh on something before a show it serves the purpose well. Finally, the bar could use a real bartender. Someone who knows how to not only make drinks but to keep it moving. Lines are little long for food and beverages. There are no waiters or waitresses. But the entertainment is so over-the-top good, I'd be happy just drinking a bottle of water.

This is our first time at Rhythms Live Music Hall and it was a great show with comedian Mr.Sinbad. Now having to wait outside for like 30 minutes was not what we expected especially with VIP tickets but the people around us made it fun but a young lady did come out and apologized to everyone. I would of given them a 5 star review but the wait in a food line was crazy and then to have no more chicken was sad but what made it unpleasant was the fact that they ran out of utensils and we waited over 10 minutes just for utensils after we got our food. Now, I have to admit that the food was actually worth the delay. Who ever makes the food I have to say they put there foot in it:-)

My Best Friend, Victor Graham, from Sumter, SC, owns this venue. He has Recording Artists, Comedians & local events here. Very nice atmosphere for anything, food was good along with the drinks. The Band In Graditude Peformed A Tribute To Earth, Wind & Fire this night. Sounded Just Like The Mighty Elements Of The Universe... 🌍💨🔥 Tell Victor Brian Sent You.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Delfonics and Stylistics show last night at Rhythms in Durham. Congrats to Greg Hill and Delfonics for sharing their talents and love for the Philly Sound. Tight harmonies and memorable songs along with great audience interaction. Great venue. Looking forward to upcoming shows. Thanks for the memories.
