This place is awesome, has a good selection of beer, and has great seating both indoor and outdoor with plenty of fun activities like KanJam and Ping-Pong. All great, but their hours are terrible! I want to spend money here, BE OPEN MORE. 12 - 3 on a Saturday? Surely they can have better hours than that.

They have good beers and I'd probably give 5 stars if they offered flights, hard to believe a brewery these days doesn't especially one with expensive beers.

This place is amazing, beers are always the best in the area. I wish they did flights, but most beers are priced well and they offer different pour options.

Such a nice quiet place with unique beers and other things. Its off the beaten path and really worth a visit.

I had no idea this place existed. Nice surprise. They specialize in sours. They do 6.5 oz. pours and will let you taste, but no flights. I tasted their Summer Jam sour with pineapple and beets. Really nice. Also their Key Lime Cooler. A little sweet for my taste. Settled on a very sour sour, Grapefruit Explosions. All their beers are $5 for 6.5 oz. They also have other craft brews at various prices if you're not a sour lover. The space is spotlessly clean and has a couple TVs. There are shaded picnic tables outside too. Go check it out.

Stopped in on a Friday after work. The taproom is stunning- from the bar and creative tap handles to the cool marble like floor. The bartender was kind and helpful in telling us about their brews. They have fun fruit sours brewed there and an assortment of high quality, some rare, guest taps. I am excited about this addition to south Durham. My only wish is that they were dog friendly- the bartender said they are working on getting their outdoor seating set up and dogs will eventually be welcome there, however.

Loved it! Fantastic, eclectic beer choices that you can’t find just anywhere. Beers loaded with unique flavors and pleasing to the palette. Awesome atmosphere and wonderful service. Perfect COVID getaway stop! Highly recommend. We’ll be back on our next trip through the Raleigh/Durham area.

This place is great! I love the atmosphere. There is plenty of room to spread out and I love sitting on the back deck surrounded by the beautiful pine trees. They had a delicious cheese plate from Raleigh Cheesy that my friends and I enjoyed sharing. My friends loved the triple berry sour beer and the peach skillet sour beer. The customer service was excellent as well.

Very interesting!!! They specialize in sour beers/wild ales. We had the Illusory and Daze Hazy IPAs as well as the Bramble. Very unique and I look forward to trying more. Service was outstanding. They were supposed to have a food truck, but they were late. We were there at opening time on Dec 20th.

Yum! So many sour ale options and beer slushees! The butterfinger stout was like drinking a well balanced milkshake. The staff was very knowledgeable and kind. The inside is clean, open, and well modernized. There are many picnic tables outside to sit at when the weather permits.

Absolutely excellent brewery specializing in a variety of sours. Great selection of beers and sours with unique flavors. In-person the ambience is nice, with well-distanced tables both inside and out. They're dog friendly and the staff is always super nice. Definitely a more unique place to check out if you're tired of the standard brewery selections. They don't really have an in-house kitchen, so most of the food selection is pretty basic, wouldn't recommend going their if food is anything you're looking for.

The beer selection is unique with plenty of sours and ales available. I had a strawberry lemon sour and a raspberry blackberry sour and both were great. I needed a place to kill some time and the picnic tables outside were convenient to enjoy a sunny day. I’ll be back in the future to try more of the sours and certainly recommend for those who find themselves in the awkward middle of Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill.

Great spot on the edge of Durham that showcases some of the best sour beers in the state. Big stouts and delicious IPAs are typically also available. And I’ve been eyeballing their beer slushy‘s for months now — can’t wait for the weather to get warm. The space itself is modest but modern inside. They have decent outdoor seating under flowering trees or on their back patio. Great place to introduce people to the delicious world of craft beer!

I used Barrel Culture’s event space and was extremely happy with the venue and the staff. Caroline and Ben were super helpful throughout the process and worked hard to make sure our needs were met. Oh, and they produce some really great beers too! I would recommend BC for everything from enjoying a beverage in the taproom, to hanging out on the patio, to Thursday night trivia and of course, hosting your event. It’s a great place ran by great people.

We hosted a large group event at Barrel Culture and were extraordinarily pleased! They went above and beyond to make sure our videos would play on the projectors and were incredibly easy to work with. The space was large and perfect for a large group. With an incredible beer selection and a food truck on site for the evening, our guests had everything they needed at their fingertips. We will certainly be back next year! We highly recommend Barrel Culture - especially for any group gatherings!

Great craft beers with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating (front and back patios). The “triple peach illusory” and the “That’s my purse I don’t know you” pale ale were both excellent. Food truck out front came in handy. Parking is tight in the main lot, but there is additional parking across the street.

Very nice bartenders and atmosphere. Drinks just aren't our style, however, a lot of people are fans. They have very interesting mixes and flavors.

Met my friends after work to go here for the first time. Cool space and I personally like the style of beer they are making. The owners(maybe employees or both) asked us to play in a ping pong tournament in the back room that one of my friends actually won and got a $25 gift card. Best first experience at a brewery I have ever had. Check it out, the RTP area really needed another spot.

Cute place! Not well designated from the road, so pay attention when your GPS says to turn ahead. That being said -- definitely stop by. Small brewery, they've got a few of their brews but also offer others. HIGHLY recommend their smores beer - strong but so well done. Thanks for being so welcoming guys!

Incredible beer and beautiful location. We came here on a warm day and sat outside under the trees and enjoyed our sours, the flavors were very creative. I tried almost everything on the menu and was impressed by everything.
