The Durham Food Hall is Open for Business
Meats, sweets, and tweet-worthy cuisine.
“It’s not the opening we thought it would be, but it’s exciting,” said Adair Mueller, co-owner of the Durham Food Hall in a News & Observer interview.
It wasn't the opening we expected either, but after a few delays, we are thrilled to see the city's first food hall open for business. Below you'll find the vendors open this week and the near future.
Offering full cocktail kits, delicious homemade mixers, and curated beer and wine selections as a preview to the Auctioneer Bar, one of the Durham Food Hall's in-house bars. They also have thoughtful small maker goods like cards, candles, home goods, and pet items for you to enjoy at home or include in a gift or care package.
Hours: Wednesday–Sunday | 12–7 p.m.
Connecting people with the beauty of the natural world, during life’s most noted moments Bowerbird Flowers & Apothecary is a full service boutique floral design business based in North Carolina. Using thoughtfully-sourced natural elements, they create arrangements to surprise and inspire you, but most importantly, invoke a feeling of joy. Their shop carries small batch made gift items as well as a wide variety of house plants and pots.

Everything Bagels features locally sourced gourmet bagels, avant-garde sandwiches, and bagel-burgers daily. They have a seasonally standard menu with several daily specials.

Liturgy Beverage Company is a specialty coffee, tea, and chocolate company focused on connecting the work of farmers with the habits and rituals of their community in Durham. They specialize in single origin tea, coffee, and chocolate beverages designed to highlight the unique flavors of their regions.
Hours: Tuesday–Saturday | 7 a.m.–2 p.m.
Napoli Pizzeria and Gelatoria offers Neapolitan wood-fired pizza, small plates, salads and artisanal gelato. They source their fresh ingredients locally from farms based in and around Durham and import their flour, olive oil and tomatoes from Naples, Italy. Their artisanal gelato is made in house from scratch using local dairy, organic cane sugar and all natural ingredients.

At Afters, you will find a spot to tickle your sweet tooth. With options for a variety of diets, you will find it easy to decide on a flight of three elegant desserts or baked to order cookies.

Ex-Voto's mission has always been to showcase the flavor of freshly-ground corn masa and the techniques behind doing so. Until they are able to serve you their tacos and tamales as intended, they’ll be pivoting with something fun and delicious that lends itself better to the curbside dining they’re embracing during COVID-19. Ex-Voto’s ‘Burrito Bodega’ will feature a selection of mission-style burritos on 14″ flour tortillas, stuffed with things like Pollo Rostizado, Smoked Pork Carnitas, Braised Beef Cheeks, and Tempura Rellenos. Additionally, they will be offering NC Hoop Cheese Quesadillas, Dirty Queso Dip, and maybe even the occasional Sonoran Hotdog.

Locals Oyster Bar is a taste of the coastline tucked into Durham Food Hall. Their menu is a celebration of North Carolina seafood, from raw oysters to fish sandwiches. Locals Oyster Bar will also operate a fish market stocked with fresh fish, oysters, smoked seafood, and more.

Lula & Sadie’s is a seasonal, Southern eatery showcasing a modern take on southern cuisine. Their menu highlights the cultural roots and bounty of produce in our region with dishes like Scalloped Potatoes and Hot Cakes, Tomato Salad, Chicken Pot Pie, and Eggnog-Pecan French Toast.

Open June 3
Old North Meats and Provisions offers a seasonal rustic menu of house-made cured and smoked meats, fish, and pickled veggies, all locally sourced. They lean on our thriving local food community to bring the food of their youth to their home here in NC. Join us for a sandwich or check out the Old North deli case, where you will find delicious house made charcuterie, local artisan cheese and prepared foods to be enjoyed with us or at home with family and friends.
